I love Beatrice and appreciate her performance but I am sorry to temper, Gudaf Tsegay pacing should be also acknowledged. Reverse the roles, let Beatrice pace and front run and Gudaf wait comformrltably for 5k and the WR could own to Gudaf...Beatrice knows it. That is why she bursts into tears and is thankful to Gudaf for her hard work...
It couldn't have been a great day for Gudaf Tsegay! She trained for this...yet by the 11th lap she was visibly grimacing and exhausted! When Chebet made her move, Gudaf Tsegay had nothing! She couldn't mount a challenge. She ran on at the same pace.! You don't announce a world record challenge, have excellent pacers, run an even race and then be exhaust from so early. I wish i could hear from Tsegay herself.
should phase 1-3 be done everyday would you say? or how often should we do them, also what’s the difference between predation and competition period for the lifts and how many times should they be done in a week
Am I the only person who watches track events and in the moment vows to start running then comes back to my self after a few minutes knowing I prob wount make it to a yard without collapsing 😂😂😂
The first time I aaw this girl run was in cross country race last year where she outkicked Letensebet Gidey to the point Gidey just lost her legs and crumbled to the ground, and I knew she was a world beater. She is amazing.
I saw that race many times. Yes, Chebet won that race. And yes Chebet came flying through at the end...but I thought Letesenbet Gidey miscalculated her surge towards the end. She wasn't "outkicked". Her strategy was correct because she knew that she couldn't beat Chebet in a straight fight at the end. But Gidey moved too early because she knew Chebet would outrun her if she waited too late! But she moved too early and gave herself too much to do at the end of a brutal and gruelling race. In so doing she pushed her body to the point where she just collapsed. Gidey was way ahead. But Chebet never gave up! When she made her push she came like a hurricane! Chebet is a determined young lady!
