This is just a little place for me to post my adventures! I hope im able to inspire others to live and do what makes them happy!
A lot of my content is from a huge week long medieval festival called Bicolline or Le Duché de Bicolline! it is one of my main passions in life. Please feel free to ask me anything about me or Bicolline! My name at Bicolline is Tallian and my Guild is The March Wardens!
@maidung1825 This is a magical and deep place called Bicolline! It a medieval fantasy festival/ war game that is held up north of Montreal in Quebec Canada!
@byrpunchabear2225 MOIST! MOIST! MOIST! haha same here! It makes it way more Immersive fighting in the rain and it makes it much much cooler. It helps with the temperature too....!lol!! Will you be at the a GB in a few weeks??
My husband and I would love to partake in this event. Truly seems like an adventure. I find it strange upon doing research on trying to attend it became very "secretive". It seemed it was our easiest option to use a third party vendor to set us up with a guild and tent, etc since we are noobs and do not know what we are doing. However, the price was way too high for our budget. I wish I could find more information on lodging options. I was told there was no lodging in the buildings.... specifically a bedroom with a fullsize bed and a door.....so 250 buildings and I can't get a bedroom to share with my husband and us two only? Weird. Id be willing to bring our tent even. But then I heard it's almost impossible to find a guild to join... so it was a bit disappointing to say the least.
@whitneyryshae I completely understand where you are coming from. Just so you are aware you literally can camp in a non decorum location were you bring your own modern tent find a place and set up camp! To get more info you can go to bicolline.org. there is all kinds of info you can get from there. You absolutely do not need to join a guild and it is recommended that you come your first year without a guild and try to find a good fit for you and your family. As far as your comment on not being able to find a building out of all of them to stay in. The vast majority of all the building are privately owned by individuals who have purchased land and payed to build those building. Most of them use them for their own friends and family and don't rent them out.
My husband and I do not follow the crowd. Iphones, Apple stuff overspending on things just to impress people we don't like. Encouraging things that do not matter in life. We don't have kids, we wait until we both feel ready, have enjoyed our career, traveling and if by 40 we do not have kids its on us. The world is broken and we both know that. We love Bicolline and people who do live their lives based on what they like. It is way more fun than sitting in a Ikea living room with renovated cheap looking things hearing about the complains parents have about their kids not fitting in with their latest iphones, thei career stressing them out and missing out on their hobbies and life. I am happy that you guys exist.
If i could double like this comment i would!!!! I couldnt agree more! I am so happy now that i am being ME to the fullest and not trying to be something that i think the world wants! Do you go to Bico?? You should join us if not!
@@TallianAdventures I'm absolutely combing through all of your videos rn trying to find what i want; when i recognize my friends or other creators is makes me happy
I couldn't be at that campaign and I'm even more sad because I could have fought by YOUR side Tallian. Still wonderful thing showing us the action. Love it!
@adramateus Noooooo! Will you be at the GB!? If so I will surely see you there! I want to do a few campaigns a year so I should be making more appearances in the future!
Right! I have been in there so many times but have never seen any of the rooms! BTW I have been so busy this week I haven't sent any footage! Just so you know you can download any of my footage off of RU-vid and use it.
My friend you may be coming alone but you will not stay that way!!! My first year in 2019 i came by myself as well and it was my first ever larp too!! Bico is a great first larp! you only have to do what you are comfortable with! im just now getting comfortable with role playing so dont feel like you have to be good or like everything! Will you be with a guild? Feel free to stop by my guild camp. we are right on the battlefield and have purple and beige tents!! Ask for Tallian of you do!
What rules are you talking about? you dont have to swing light. this is not a light touch larp. most people hit with enough force to feel it and we are there have fun not get hurt or hate each other. we all party in a medieval village after these battles.
This is at a place called Bicolline in Quebec Canada. This isnt light touch combat but you are not supposed to hit as hard as you can. you will get a horrible reputation for being a a hole and nobody will like you. We are out her to have fun not to try to hurt each other. They do have Buhurt that is extreme combat. You may like that.
Have you heard of the wonderfully place called Bicolline!? It is located a little over an hour north of Montreal! I could give you some tips on good ways to go for your first time! After your first year you will have a better idea of what you want from your experiences at bico!
That can and will happen!! When I first discovered bico I didnt get paid well enough to go either! It took a few years but I made a few changes and bico has honestly changed my life! Can't wait to meet you when you make it!
How did you get to video your experience? Me and a group of friends want to video and take pictures but we are looking for a way to hide the cameras and phones (without the hollowed out book trick)
I personally do not use a phone to take photos or pictures. It's very hard to hide and it can look unnatural (like people do when they do the hollow book). I use a go pro. It's small enough that I can hold it in my hand or have it hidden easier. I turn off all the lights such as the red light and both front and back screens. I also turn off the beeps. On the battlefield I have all black armor and the gopro kinda blends into my helmet when I have it attached.
it looks like a lot of fun, sadly we don't speak French here, so it would be difficult to be apart of it. I hope every one involved enjoyed themselves though.
I recognized the The Ultimate LARPing Experience guy at the start of the video, I am here watching this because I stumbled across his video. I have never been interested in LARPing before, and it is not really something that is prevalent in my country, but it looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
Thanks for watching! His bicolline name is Withers and he is a really great guy! What country do you come from? I didn't have a huge want to go larping before I saw Bicolline videos!
It will be great to have you there! Bico is such a huge amount of prep especially for your first time you really want to make sure you give yourself a lot of time in my opinion!
