This is perfect. I just bought a new super charged studio for home, but I travel and want to do that work via the beast. Great video! I’ve subscribed and hope you have other more in depth and secure options. My business has staff and I’m starting to issue laptops but not get on an Apple Remote management process. Want something secure in the beginning and when I have IT dedicated staff, have a more thorough Apple Remote management tied to either iCloud or my Microsoft Azure ID. :/
Thanks for this video. Is this something that allows you to remote access your computer when you’re away from the network that your computer is on? Or just when you’re on the same Internet network that your computer is on?
Tried all the cmd+(all letters mentioned) but it still keeps going back to the flashing question Mark :-( I think this means I need to have this fix to the apple support ... 😓😓😓
SO many way to fix mac, thats mean, many problem of mac OS. i got linux on my PC never have problem, i can do what i want to use and install, downgrade upgrade, no reboot need. You need to try linux too dude.
I encountered this issue today. I was running a partitioned HD with Bootcamp, mostly running Windows. I tried many of your steps but did not try to the "nunclear" option of reinstalling MacOS, as I did not want to lose all my Windows data. I was able to get into Disk Utility and run First Aid, but I'm not sure if it helped or hurt. Eventually, after several restarts and holding Option, I saw the spinning globe icon and it asked me for a WiFi password. And finally, it just gave up and referred me to Apple Support. So, I pulled the SSD and ordered an enclosure. My main fear is losing all data, primarily that was in the Bootcamp Win. partition. Usually, in Disk Utility, I would see BOOTCAMP listed as a drive as Windows, but the last time I was in Disk Utility, I just saw one drive (Mac) listed BUT the file storage bar, show it full, so I'm hoping I can still access the data on another computer. I would like to hear your thoughts/advice.btw, I did reset the PRAM and NVRAM as well. Thanks!
I just put Sonoma on my late 2013 iMac and basically fried it. Every time I boot, it restarts 3-5 times in the process. It gets a little further along each time till it eventually works. From there the whole machine is basically locked at 2 fps.
I have this flashing question mark but I just bought this Mac from another person, she said she took it to the apple store and THEY erased it before selling it to me and she never opened it again... now I see this grey folder with the question mark, and if the computer is erased why am I not able to just log on!! I got as far as connecting to the internet, then it asked me if I wanted to restore with the MacOs from Catalina, and then it told me to chose a disk, but gave no options to do so...
Maybe I haven't eyes.... But It would be okay if you was about create list command for the terminal, but this video helped me a lot in way that I had a many ways to get my keys for my wifi
I totally agree! If you need audio and you use the Apple ID of the remote Mac to connect it will do the audio but you have to accept the connection on the remote Mac.
@@AppleNinja I'm so confused some people say they get audio over SharePlay. over the iCloud I think it's just he microphone picking up the computer sounds, i need a completely remote solution. there is also an apple silicone limitation they get high performance mode but only if both Mac have apple silicone. out of luck with my m1 MBP and hackintosh system..
Yep it will all work on the newer devices too. Dang you got and M3 iMac and MacBook Pro! That’s super sweet! Enjoy bud and have an amazing day. Cheers 🍻!
Apple Ninja i need your help, for some reason when i try to connect to my Imac, the user name and password is not accepted even on my local network. but if I put my email address instead of my IP address it connects with the permission from my imac. How do I fix this please?
In the Settings app you can click on Wi-Fi (if connected to WiFi) or click network to see which connection is active. You can also hold down the Option Key and click on the WiFi icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen to see more info about the WiFi connection. In the Sharing pane if you click on the little i next to Remote Management you can see it in there as well. Hope this helps! Cheers!
What macOS and iPhone version are you using? I just used this a couple weeks back and it worked fine. I have a lot of different devices with different OS versions so I am not sure which configuration I used. If you can let me know I might be able to test for ya.
This is not remote desktop as RDP this is VNC screen sharing where screen is exposed to potential nerby viewer since remote screen is unlocked. RDP locks session on physical remote screen you are accessing to. Windows and Linux are both supporting proper RDP as well as virtual VNC session where remote desktop on target computer is not unlocked. On the other hand you Windows as well as Linux offers remote pull of single apps window (MS Windows via RDP functionality and Linux via X11-forwarding). This is one of many Apple's lacks of functionality's ... The only reason I also use MAC (beside Windows and Linux) is that it has native MS365 applications required for business - but even those don't work all on MAC (eg. MS Access, MS Visio, MS Project, ...). But please do correct me if I am wrong and there is a service serving proper RDP on MAC (I would love to se that video)!
