It looks fantastic! Do you have a lot of rules and regulations that you have to follow because it's a pre-war building? I've heard that sometimes it's quite a nightmare! I love pre-war apartments and how quirky they can be. :) Good luck!

I hope you see this because I think you'd find it fascinating. My house in England was built in 1890 and has very very similar beading around the doors, the ornate beading that is.

I love everything you did: great wallpaper, well matching paint, the floor restored, the goodlooking furniture. You did sooo good. Maybe i should not be surprised but it is the first project i see. It is magic.
Bricks are never meant to be exposed, that’s a fashion thing in the US mainly, you’d never have bricks in a period property in the UK unless it was an old farmhouse
When I was 6 my family sold our cottage that had been in the family for almost 70 years. They could not afford it anymore. I vowed to buy it back when I grew up. And when I was 20, I had enough money to buy it back. I painted and refurnished it just the way I remembered. It made my Nana so happy, and ever since we spend every summer swimming and having fun at that cottage.
You always see the most gorgeous NYC apartments in movies. Like "You've got Mail". But your apartment is more beautiful than any I've seen so far! (the building covered in Ivy is to die for <3 <3 <3 )
