Thank you for visiting my youtube channel, my name is Roman and I'm in love with the electric guitar and everything surrounding it, i get a kick out of demoing guitar gear old and new, if you are interested in having me demo your product, contact me at info@shnobeltone.com
Both pedals do sound different. KTR seems a bit more modern and has a slightly bigger noise floor. What concerns me tho is that there are no reactions that they both sound like sh#t. Come on, where did it go wrong? Looks there is a Marshall Valvestate running in the back. Sorry, the KTR is already expensive but the old Klon? Hahaha. Jezus.
Great review of a great amp. You captured it's essence and versatility perfectly with the different pickup configurations and effects. Beautiful sound, of course great playing helps!
I really wish you would not play another pedal with this pedal trying to make recommendations on one pedal with another pedal doesn’t really do justice man
Hey kinda late here. I am down a rabbit hole chasing the delay to sound like Edge. Please save me :) Can you recommend which delay can get me close to the Joshua tree tone era? I know DMM and DMB but want to find something more budget friendly
Clean, the similarities are greater than the differences. Definite edge to the Jensen. Very controlled and dynamic lows and low-mids, without losing fabulous highs. In a Princeton Reverb it shines.
Amazing, I hear P90s( good ones) Filtertrons and you got a very good fat humbucking tone too let alone the fact that you managed to get a basic Fender Strat to sound even funkier than usual, I had lots in the 80s and I used a boss compressor and chorus to get more atmosphere but now all I need is the GE7 a fuzz and a cry baby, 3 pedals to build a unique sound with( spring reverb in amp), great vid, best for the EQ pedal by far, well done!
I think the big box has more attack and chime. i’ve grown very attuned to pedals that do not sound open. if it doesn’t have that glassy zshang, im not too into it
Excellent demo! Subtle difference... I've listened to this video without watching and I could hear all the time which was the old and which is the new one. The old one sounds more harmonic, the new one slightly more dissonant. Again, it's subtle and I've been happy with my Price Rat since 10 years. But, since it's the first in my signal chain, it's pretty much on all the time with distortion very low, almost like a compressor, and I like to tweak my sound bit by bit, so the next thing I'm definitely gonna try is replacing my Proco RAT by a old one / clone.
One of the best delays! I have the V2 on my board and had its bigger brother the X4 first. Too big for me. I like the V2. I do hate that you have to hold the button and strum. Such a pain for live playing.
