If that guy had lost in the J2M2 then he should uninstall the game and go play frisbee or some shit(DEFYN'S PTSD is probably going to be kicking in if he read this).
One thing I found that works for me, at least in the Yak-1 (idk how different it is in different planes), is to be trying to angle your plane to be going up more than the enemy. I've found that a lot of the time, enemy planes will try to fly directly at me, so I try to fly a bit above them, making them have to fly even higher than if we both were flying straight toward each other. I can usually get off a good burst, and while they'll still hit me, they'll only do a moderate amount of damage to me, while I rip off their tail, or a wing, or kill their engine. Another thing I want to add is that I'm not very great at the game. This isn't me trying to say "get gud" or smth like that. This method doesn't work all the time for me, but it's something I've found that helps me get a nice, satisfying kill every one and a while.
The guide should just be the 3 best head on planes. The fw 190 with 6 20mils. The il10 with 4 23mms and a36 with gunpods. All of these planes can get 5 head on kills in a row if the enemy are smart.
As that player said, i just don't understand P-47. Like... Isn't only his advantage is a firepower? Climb is bad, maneurability at low-mid speed it too. Hurricane at least have small stall speed. I personnaly don't like all these boom&zoomers. I more like dogfights, it's more fun for me. This is a reason, why i like more YaKs (YaK-3mybeloved.gif here, please), than a BFs, P-47s and a Fw190s.
how on earth do you play air RB this long and not realize that any turnfight a 190 wins against a spitfire is due to either team tactics or huge mistakes by the spitfire pilot. 190s aren't bad, but there's only so much you can do with that thing in the maneuverability department.
If I don't get wasted by my opponent's guns, the 700mph closing speed seems to be perfect for them to just ram me, not matter how much I try to avoid them.
@@wongarnold2879I outmaneuvered a Yak-3 at 22,000 feet. It’s very much a high altitude fighter that cannot climb, so it’s really great mid-late game but it struggles at early game due to the poor low-mid altitude climb. With that said the only P-47 that I really don’t like is tbe D-22, the D-25 is passable
@@wongarnold2879 I sideclimbed and made it there. Most YaK’s engines choke up above 3-4000 meters. The Russians weren’t really that good at making high alt fighters, apparently They also burn nicely- 50 Cals can be really cool sometimes and I got 3400 rounds of em in the jug!
@@christopherchartier3017 it’s a plane that need to third party and capitalizing on enemy mistakes. If any of the fast climbing planes focus on you. You are pretty much boned. Can’t defend a plane, when a majority of the players don’t consider it competitive. Particularly against planes like the j2m2, spitfire, ki44, vl perymersky, xp50, yak3,yak9u.
I personally do not enjoy the P-47 even if I can do very well with it. Too heavy and clunky. I'm more of a fan of lighter energy fighters like the Ki-61 and Bf-109. I do really like the P-51D though. Very lovely.
0:53, correct me if im wrong, but he could've won here?? Spit has come out of a turn, has dropped energy and has dropped altitude, 190 already has better energy retention, 190 could just fly straight up, maybe in a steep spiral, stall out the spit, pop flaps and kill him? Even if the spit eveades the 190 is now behind and above him so he controls the fight
