It has some of the worst stage designs ever with super annoying enemy placements. uninspired game. 3/10. I'm a big megaman fan and have played many fan games which are ten times better than Mighty No 9. Like Mega Man Unlimited. If you want to play a more modern Mega Man ish game. Go play Gravity Circuit. The theme song of Mighty No 9 is too good for the game.
😂😂😂..."No Spoulers"...."it's a prequel...you find that out later in the game"..."you start out in this siinister looking forest, full of traps and dead bodies"...I had to stop there before you tell me the WHOLE game...man...😑
I TRIED to love this game, because everyone online was telling me that it's "breath taking", "relaxing" or the "most beautiful game they have ever played" and a "masterpiece". I was VERY disappointed when I didn't feel this way about the game. Yeah, it's pretty but a masterpiece? 🤨 I don't understand how anyone would see it as a masterpiece. And it's not relaxing at all. The controls were very frustrating (I'm playing on ps4) I found myself constantly stuck and had to look up gameplay guides to know what to do. I have to mention that I'm 37 and have played Playstation games since I was 9, so the issue isn't that I'm new to gaming. I read somewhere that the devs wanted this game to be easy and accessible for anyone 🤔 I eventually gave up completely when I realized that I wasn't enjoying the game at all and was constantly cursing under my breath trying to time some jumps and having to do so over 30 times. So in my opinion this game is extremely overrated....
It's a game that does a few things really right. Music is great, dash mechanic is addictive, boss patterns are genuinely good, and some boss weapons beat out official Megaman ones (everything here is better than Bubble Lead). Gives you room to stretch your legs and use the weapons in any creative way to benefit your playstyle. Or you could buster-only speedrun levels and still have a good time. For more than $10 I wouldn't recommend it though.
The PS3 is as old now as the Mega Drive was when the PS3 came out, and even back then, the Mega Drive was retro. Then again, in the 1990s, the leap from 2D to 3D was so huge.
I made a Kart racing game "Ultimate Godspeed". Everybody keeps modify the race track by placing shortcuts and traps. Its basically a mashup of "Ultimate Chicken Horse" and "Mario Kart".
@@DadDude aww, thank you! yes it was quite the journey. were aer just 3 people and have been working on this for the last 3.5 years while juggling life and day-jobs haha
@@DadDude if you wan't I can send free keys. At the moment we just try to grow a little bit of a community, because the game is kind of unknown still. But if you want to buy it, thats really nice of course <3
Oh yeah, I played a little of the GameCube version a while back. I might do a follow up to this video with games from older consoles. I'll have to remember that one.
Hi, fellow Dad here, did you ever continue on with this program ? I'm interested in learning piano and have been looking for a midi keyboard interactive program to use.
Hi, fellow dad. Actually, I didn't. It's a good program, though. I also used Simply Piano for iPhone/iPad for a while. It works with any keyboard/piano (not through midi, but by listening through your phone/tablet's microphone) but a lot of its content is locked behind a subscription. They're both good resources, though, and I'd recommend checking out either or both of them.
didnt work for crimecraft gangwars. a free game with achievement items in tf2 :( (i only needed it to be in the library, didnt need to play it. so S.A.M could detect it) also doesnt work for super monday night combat. same error as crimecraft (no license) even though they were both free to play.
I think they really did intend for Wild 9 to become a big series or whatever but unfortunately didn't. Awesome art style, great music, and so on. The characters have some interesting bios and lore bits that makes it a shame this game has fallen into obscurity. In the unlikely even it ever did (though for "reasons" nowadays I'm certainly fine if it doesn't or waits longer...) it'd be cool if all of the Wild 9 team be made playable with different abilities and perhaps even their own levels.
I think hi fi was inspired by the idea of a rhythm game. Only difference is hifis more polished and precise time on beat, nsrs boss throws attacks occasionally off beat. Same parry idea, different style and story. And I love both of them standing out
I think Mighty Number 9 is great in terms of core gameplay. The backlash has more to do with the output of the game not matching the input (money, time, etc.) but as a $20 game (cheaper now) it’s a solid play through. It’s unfortunate that Inafune did not give it another go, though. I think doing a sequel and doing it right could really redeem the negative reception of the series. I’ve seen it done before.
Nice i get to play arcade games and cramp my hands. These "minis" are only to cuck you with nostalgia nothing more its way more practical to just buy a neo geo.
I just want to put this out there even though this video is a little old, just cause I thought it was funny. AJ isnt literally Snoops nephew in the game, Snoop just calls people nephew.
I will say I do like emulation better because some of these prices are insane butt I have three retro systems that's all I want they defined my childhood/ teenage years what if the game is ridiculously priced I won't buy it I'll emulate it if it's something I love I love being able to have it physically that sense of ownership my relationship with emulation in retro gaming is interesting to say the least I believe that retro gaming has its place but I also believe emulation is more cost-effective so normally what's my systems are only by the games I grew up playing fortunately most of them have not been expensive anyway great video
