back in my day you just remembered what could and couldnt be dealt with by esuna. And you figured it out by trying to esuna shit that couldnt be esuna'd.
Fabulous content! Thank you so much. I just days ago, came through Elpis MSQ on yet another alt, maybe the 5th time through. I continue to reel each time, so dense the story is. This content brought additional insight. thank you!
Says its in order of your leveling Immediately starts with listing off spells requiring you to be taking on like higher level bosses near the end and middle of ARR, rather than say, enemies at and around your starting level of like, 1. gods, why is it so hard for people to list this stuff in an order that is like "Heres spells you can learn from 1-10, 11-20, 20-30, etc?" Why is it every spell list does it in this kind of freaking order?
First off I said that I was listing the spells in the order they were released as they will line up naturally with your leveling journey as in the first 50 levels the spells are mostly found in arr and so on. Second, it doesn't make sense to list in obtain order because one it makes it harder to use the video for people looking to find a specific spell from their spell book, and two the order you can obtain spells varies As a solo player the first chance you have at tailscrew is lvl 50 through a dungeon, but the best way to get the spell is at level 60 in stormblood as it can be gotten from an overworld mob. However, it can also be gotten at level 1 by just having a friend pull aggro off the mob when you tag it then have them kill it to get you the spell Another example, 1000 needles is a spell you can get around level 20 normally when solo; however, if you use the guards near the enemies you could get it at level 1 by pulling the cactuar to the guards and having them kill it.
Can you fight that boss more than once? I plan on just clearing it without doing achievements first, then doing the achievements thing at a higher level.
Machinist is pretty good for new players, Red mage is confusing on the surface but in practice it's not that bad, and ast/sge are somewhat more reliant on there team but both are still very powerful. For the most part of the jobs for cc are decently balanced for crystalline. As for frontlines as long as your playing something with good aoe you'll do fine. Picto is a new personal favorite.
Machinist is considered the best for potd because of their damage and kiting ability. Red Mage is usually the next best. Healers also aren't a terrible idea if your just going for the checkpoint. it'll take longer and time might be a bit questionable but it's pretty safe.
As someone who is close to the end of Realm Reborn, it's been an overall enjoyable experience so far. I just think there's a lot of fat that could have been trimmed as far as quests go
Please, please, PLEASE do not follow the Hall of the Novice's tanking advice. It is genuinely awful. ALWAYS use your AoE skills at 3+ targets in normal content.
yet again its proven that the devs have absolutely no idea why the players are pissed about something, the problem with wuk lamat was not fully her personality, sure that was a part of it but the fact that we spent the ENTIRE GODDAMN EXPANSION WITH HER, being her babysitter basically, also her english VA was a huge negative part why people dont like her as a character, so the devs think we only hate her personality which is not even that bad IMO, its just the fact that they overused her because we just cannot get rid of her for a second and her VA sucked
People complain it is too easy. They complain if it is too hard. Do they want it like AAR so that when you landed in Pharos Sirius for roulettes most of the time the tank, healer, or both immediately left because you were generally promised at least 1 wipe per run if not 6+? I'm convinced the official forum is full of bots who complain one way vs the other regardless of the topic at hand.
its the matter of WHO you listen, casual players complain the game is too hard, midcore/hardcore players say its too easy, SE needs to know who they wanna listen and also make changes THEY want the game to have, EW was the lowest point when it came to difficulty since we as players are way too OP now, there is no other way around it really, game cannot be truly hard before devs nerf the jobs, but that will never happen since they don't like nerfing jobs, which is slowly killing the combat content as fights become obsolete and only way to punish players is the TOP way AKA do everything perfectly or wipe
They didnt even address the english VA for quk lamat. Thats insane because most of the issues come from that and the writing for quk lamat. The VA couldnt hold a consistent voice at all, let alone portray ANY emotion in their delivery. Please replace him. Also please dont let this game hit switch, i do not want to play with switch players who can barely run the game while trying to do endgame content lol.
I wonder why they did Samurai so dirty in pvp. “The Lone Samurai” is a common concept but they made the Samurai suck in 1 on 1 fights and made his rotation extremely slow instead of being like the fun fast pace of his pve. Sometimes it seems like MMO devs make pvp less enjoyable than pve on purpose.
Managed to beat it after 6 or 7 tried, but i did miss one important and unexpected problem, i was sprinting, worse i knew i would have still done it without it. 😅
Be honest, the right thing to have done was simply let the game end after Endwalker, go out on the end of a 10-year saga with a satisfying conclusion. But that wasn't going to happen in an MMO. Having to start a new story like ARR 2.0 was always a big risk, but there was no other option. Trying to milk a concluded story by extending it would have just been as controversial as restarting with Dawntrail.
I really hope the rest of the secondary dye channels are applied in a relevant way. So many are for elements that are basically invisible (like buttons, or the stitches). I'd rather they take longer to do it, and put some effort into it vs what we've gotten for a lot of the second channels.
Idk what to even expect with ff14 anymore. I miss the grounded and "realistic" armor sets from 1-50. DT is like a time machine where you go from tribes, the wild west to then TRON Legacy. And your gear doesn't actually matter visually anymore because everytime I meet someone they just ask "Mare code?" to show off their sims 4 ripped casual clothing. I also think the invasion of garlemald could have been a expansion of its own and not just something you finish in a couple of hours. And sure the bubbles are cool, but like.. If you just use XIVLauncher like most people I know do.. There's your bubbles already.. This mainly just benefits console users (which good for them but still)
Devs have no vision for the game anymore, they used to have vision for what they wanted the game to be, now they only listen to the players without thinking what it means to the game which is dumb move, devs are just clueless and there is no passion anymore
"Speak with Wuk Lamat" "Speak with Wuk Lamat again" "Speak with Wuk Lamat yet again" "Speak with Wuk Lamat yet again..." I kid you not, this was an actual quest
i spent thousands of moogle tomes on 70 potentially special timeworn maps and ive still got 40 of them but my fc has moved on to dawntrail maps haha. i love doing "state sponsored map nights" where i just drop a ton of maps and let everyone roll need on everything so we all leave with goodies. if anyone is on Bryn and wants to do maps i guess lemme know haha.
They do say the first 4 savage are supposed to be easier so I guess making dps check negligible isn't a big deal for now. I do think they should make AR's more like those in HW and StB since people still wipe in those semi-regularly. I'm not sure how a 24 man savage will be done? 3 statics team up? Or maybe it will just be slightly harder. I guess we will find out.
I would imagine they would be similar to DRS mechanically, but without the rez restriction/lost actions. Also, and this is just my speculation, I think feel like they might aim it towards midcore players in terms of difficultly since it's being released along side the ultimate.
@@TheNastyNamazu Oh, so maybe it will be part of the new Bozja/Eureka area they are releasing as well. That would make more sense and be better for the community. I find people in that content are still way more patient and willing to help people.
There just really isn't any way for them to make the WoL have any actual impact in the story due to how the game exists. You literally *cannot* say or do anything that diverges the story, so every line of dialogue is just flavor text-one text box response-before moving on. The entire premise of being a 'mentor' is just dead on arrival because... what the hell could you really expect them to do? You have no agency in any part of the story; you're consistently along for the ride while everyone else does things-save combat instances. I have absolutely no idea why they even thought they could pull this kind of story off inside of the systems they're working under, and I feel it was a complete failure on their part for wasting an entire expansion on it when they had infinitely better things they could have been doing instead. Krile and Erenville were sitting RIGHT there, and they did borderline nothing with them throughout the entire story. Instead, we're 'treated' to witness Wuk Lamat acquiring basic-level knowledge about the villages that surround her home and have everyone else's character arcs get wrapped up in the final two zones.
Daily routine: EW Battle Tribe, ShB Battle Tribe, DT Daily Hunt Bills (total is 11M exp). If you're 90, that and a few FATEs is a level right there. At 91+, that gets up no less than half-way, after which _one_ Aglaia run will get you a level as that (with buffs) is 11M or so per run. So do a Roulette (or turn in a Khloe book), then run Aglaia and you're getting a level an hour or less. You can comfortably level two Battle Jobs 90-100 per week this way, and maybe level a Crafting Job as a break here and there.
The music is not as good as Shadowbringer or even EW. That track that plays after the team is repair is terrible. It is so far removed from FF music that it pulls you out of the narrative.
I quite enjoyed ARR's story, then again, I wanted to take my time with it. I just finished the msq and arrived at HW after about 125 hours and I'm enjoying it a lot. I know a lot of people hate the 'fetch' quests where you talk to 3 people and then return, but people forget that it's what happens irl as well. If you need info, you go talk to people and run around a lot before making any headway 😊
As a BLU main I can agree this is very well done and concise. Tho I will note that tingle and whistle buffs your next physical spell, not melee spell. It'll still buff physical ranged spells like Winged Retrobation
the snapshot thing i have noticed a few hours ago, taking damage despite being out of the animation, it's an rpg after all and even looks a lot like ff12, if the cast bar is full you will take damage
