2:19 I would really like to see a graph that shows the numbers prior to 2014, as in 2014 Russia invaded Ukraine for the first time capturing Crimea. I bet that would’ve also increased military personnel, probably not as drastically as it did in 2022 to now with the second invasion of Ukraine.
Russia is quickly becoming a 3rd world country, just like at the end of a fireworks display all the firearms they have left are being used up at a record pace never to be re-supplied. Within a few years russia will be at the same level as North Korea and Iran.
I am glad that Poland is starting to get above NATO's basic standards... Poland also has to remember it IS A NATO COUNTRY unlike Ukraine... If Russia did sent troops into Poland, then Artticul 5 would be called into effect where all of NATO should go to war and would have fighting from Norway down to it's southern boarder and oh ya by the way, NATO then can send troops threw Ukraine...... We just do not know what side Turkey would take NATO or Russian side...
I didn't watch the full video yet but I can't help but see this being as the Maginot Line 2.0, Poland might be planning to build this on their border with Belarus and Russia but what about the border with Lithuania? If Poland gets invaded, so does NATO, and Lithuania is a part of it so Belarus and Russia will definitely attack Lithuania, then they'll flow into Poland through the Polish-Lithuanian border that doesn't have the Eastern Wall or however the wall is being planned to be named after Lithuania gets overwhelmed

Russia is not going to attack Poland. It can’t even defeat the Ukraine. If it did try to attack Poland, a NATO member, it would be World War III and Putin knows that.

As a German I support the Polish desire to be ready to defend themselves. With Germany's armed forces being high-tech but understaffed and underequipped there's little to no chance of Germany being able to send support in case of an attack. Yeah, yeah, I can already hear the snarky comments about "Germans helping the Poles" by invading them. That's not going to happen. I'd be astonished if the German armed forces could even reach the Polish border from their bases, much less 'invade' even if Germany were stupid enough to attempt something like that. We are both partners in NATO, and WW2 is in the past. We would be wise to spend more on our defense as well. Obviously in total agreement with international contracts about the limits of German armed forces including international controls. We agreed to those controls, and we will uphold those contracts as well. War shall never again start from German soil. However if we do get involved in war we should be capable of at least assisting in ending war.
Poland is like that kid in school trying to bully others until he gets punched , countries should seek diplomacy to avoid wars and not use threats, Russia sucks but Poland nothing special also
Poland has no choice but to arm itself, because you can read in history how our allies have behaved. Who doesn't know this then let them find out? And the rule is, count on yourself, because if you don't help yourself no one will help you. Poland to the east has always had a barbaric neighbour and unfortunately we have to live with that, because we will not take Poland on our backs and move it to, for example, Spain. Our geopolitical position is our curse and until this evil empire of Russia crumbles then Poland and all of Europe will live in danger. Do you understand this and do I need to give you examples of when Poland saved Europe's ass?

But I strongly suspect they are looking at getting nu*cl*ear we*ap*ons too, especially if Trump takes power again. And that is one of Trump's legacies: war in Europe, massive rearmament, dissolution of NATO, massive emboldening of the tyrant Putin, and rampant nu*c*lear proliferation. Not to mention dramatically ramping up military hardware production in Iran and North Korea.
This current polish government are traitors. They want to push us into this war just like the dominant forces in the EU. We dont want war, we want peace...
It wasn't only the 20th century Poland suffered. Don't forget the partitions and the effect it had during the 19th century. Almost 200 years of being screwed over. Never again!
