There is a better way to lift out these out. Bore out the wooden stump. Use an ibeam as a lever. Set the fulcrum on one end of ibeam and a hydraulic car jack on the other end with a chain securely fitted to the post and ibeam. Now jack the post out of the ground. Found this the best method on getting a washing line concrete base out. It should work for fence posts.
Hope you don't mind me adding; When you have to change a Fob battery, buy a branded (High-quality) battery, don't make the mistake (as I did a few times!) of getting 'Pound-Shop' 10-to-a-pack batteries, they simply do NOT last! I now buy Fob batteries that cost £12 apiece but, while the cheap ones have NEVER lasted me beyond months, the £12 battery has been in my Fob for almost 5 years! Like I say, hope you don't mind me chipping-in with that?👍
Good evening I found your video very informative, I am trying to configure power fold mirrors onto my jaguar XFR have you done a video showing this it would be fantastic if you have if not is there any chance you could do a video or give me some pointers on where to look thank you regards Chris
Hi Leon - I'm having trouble here. My washer just buzzes/humms when turned on. Checked the capacitor which is 35mf - it reads 34.6mf on multimeter. OHMS test shows rise and fall 200k ok. When I test the plug you tested to the motor I get these results (Mine is a K4 Compact) C to N is 0.8. L to N is 5 L to C is 4.4 I'm not really sure what that means I was just measuring as yours but can see the difference - Do you know what that means please?
Excellent tutorial, thank you. Im just about to do this on mine, rear and front. Also thanks for mentioning the parking brake reset procudure by disconnecting the batteru.
Excellent, thank you. That filter must be the original, I suppose you could find out its age from the serial number. A disgrace to the Jaguar main dealer if it is. It just goes to show, a main dealer service history is not always what it appears to be.
Hi, good informative video. Ive got same brakes and about to change my discs and pads . Can i ask, im having trouble getting a 9mm hex socket. Is that a 1/2" or 3/8" drive ?
Excellent video but with one exception. I wanted to see how to put the spring clip back on. You skipped that entirely. Getting the old one off was a piece of cake but it seems very fiddly to get the new one on and I feel sure there's a knack to it.
Usually buy feasters microwave burger but supermarket have replaced with rustlers . I usually just microwave the whole bun and burger with feasters as per instructions . However i noticed with my first rustlers burger instructions were to toast bun and put burger itself in microwave where as i would rather just microwave the bun and burger at same time as was happy with feasters.
Hello I found your video an excellent source of information thank you. I wanted to ask you, the comments you received regarding the cheap lead is that the lead that comes with the SSD package. I am thinking a put buying the same as you for my XK 2010. I'm a member of the Jag owners club and having some very confusing issues with my electrics have asked for advice. I get either no response or told I'm on the wrong models thread, which is a great help. I have had my car looked at by my garage then an auto electrician who said go to main dealer and get a full diagnostic check. Sounds good but I'm disabled and have limited funds, so I'm taking a course on auto electrics and wanted your advice on the SSD system for my car. I don't mind the expense if it will fix my problems. Keep up the good work. Andy
Buns in toaster for a short while, burgers in microwave, I then put burgers under grill for a 1-2 minutes with the cheese on top, put small amounts of mustard, mayo, ketchup and the burger sauce on buns and add some red onion. Job done, improves the taste x5
Any ideas what else could be wrong with the PSU if the rifas and c9 are good, having been replaced. And the plug fuse and psu fuse are also both good. There are no symptoms except the beeb is totally dead. 0 volts on the -/+ 5v rails. No sound nor Caps lock light. After C1,C2 and C9 what would be the next most common failure point ?
Hi, my car has no wear sensors on the front but I’ve got no wear warning, and the pads are totalled, metal on metal grinding… baffled me why no sensor, I’ll find out if there is any on the rear today, also I thought the slider bolts were 9mm hex or is that just for the front? I had to take the full caliper off to change my pads as didn’t have the right hex Don’t suppose you got a good video on the brake booster seal have you on the throttle body, mines giving me vacuum leak codes, I did a smoke test and definitely coming from there, car is a 2008 xf sv8
