Thanks for the Deja vu I grew up watching his games and I loved his passion for the game. Very entertaining and so happy we got to see the white Sox win the World Series. And the way they won to lose one game the whole postseason, AL best record, 4 complete games in a row. First Latino manager to win. My only thing was not seeing the big hurt play. Paulie, mark buerhle was always awesome to see him pitch.
This team would’ve obliterated the 2016 cubs. Sure the cubs may be known as the #1 team in Chicago but Sox are better off remembered as being one of the best postseason teams ever over a team that wanted to be known for breaking a curse for no longer being the laughing stock of North American sports. Southside til the day I die 🧦🧦 16:37 core memory 🥲🥲
i come back to this video every once and awhile one of the best years of my life and this video always puts a smile on my face with some tears in my eyes the happiest year of my life watching this team and to see them in a world series was a dream come true one of the best teams the cubs have ever had and i am thankful i was alive to see this and i still remember exactly where i was to this day when i saw bryant field that ground ball and throw it to rizzo i have a plaque that has bryant and rizzo cards on it with them celebrating on the mound after the final out ngl it was a little scary being down 3-1 never lost faith go cubs go!
A colorful soundtrack to an otherwise mostly bland boring game. People shitting on him are boomers who like falling asleep while watching baseball. Hawk is entertaining and passionate.
I had the privilege of being able to watch this game with my dad, a lifelong Cubs fan and Chicago transplant. The whole season we kept up with how the team was doing and which players were getting hot, and I still think there's not a more exciting run through the playoffs than what the 2016 Cubs saw. I cried that night, as did he, and if we never see it again I'm actually okay because I was able to share that moment with him - and that's what sports are all about.
