CT is a great company and their customer service is bar none. I had an issue with one of their products that had a defect not spotted during manufacture. Austin, one of the founders righted the issue straight away.

Hey there! I successfully finished my thru-hike on August 12th! I found that I was struggling with phone memory, editing time, and strong enough wifi to do videos the whole way but I did take video until the end and plan to release a summary video. Thank you for your concern and support!

I asked the guy's make a backpack for me many years ago. Later I added the shoulder pocket to one side and the water bottle sleeve to the other strap. I use the shoulder pocket like you would use a belt pocket for snacks and items you want as you go along. The water bottle sleeve is either for water or my Bear Spray depending on the circumstances. Then I added the 4 liter fanny pouch to use as a food bag for one or two night trips. The additional benefit , everything's the same matched custom colors ( Coyote Brown & Green ).

Lizard, I am so impressed with your definition of "HYOH." I've been following another hiker off and on who is definitely motivated by one thing; big miles. And I am watching as she misses so many really special, if not iconic, moments on trail for the sake of miles. And then there is you! Going past McAfee Knob, spending the night, then backtracking for the chance at a sunrise. Good on you, girl. You will see things that many other hikers will miss, and for no reason. You are making memories out of moments. Keep doing it your way. The miles will come regardless. God bless.
