for me, I got diagnosed last year, symptoms started a 3 years ago, I am now 17 years old and I take penicillin injection every 3 weeks after taking it every 2 weeks for more then 4 months. They say that my heart is good. Today I did the ASO test the result was 466 IU/ml and tomorrow I will go to the doctor . I hope that she will find some solution to reduce my joints pain.
I have the same problem am 17and got diagnosed this disease in 2022 the injection hurts so much I feel very time I will die soon but let pray for each other😢
@@shuvamsingh3714 if you r asking me, I feel better whenever I get my shot but when the effect starts reducing my i cannot walk properly and my joints and muscles start aching and actually I got diagnosed when they noticed the Aso test results was high for a long time also Sydenham chorea.
Hi my wife is currently suffering from rheumatic heart disease and she is 7 months pregnant please give me best advice to take care of her please I beg you
It's usually not the needle that hurts, but the thick medicine going in. I had to get a shot like this for walking pneumonia, in the behind. The nurse did all she could to help ease the sting, but it really hurt. Feels like a hornet sting, and you feel like you have a knot or golf ball in your butt cheek until the antibiotic disperses in the muscle. Not my cup of tea, but the medicine works awesome.
Diagnosed at 20, almost died from it. I’m in my early 30s now and falling apart. The arthritis is terrible Always out of energy but I look completely healthy so nobody believes me.👍🏽
I get it bro! Same here! What makes you feel better? For me is salt water and lime gargles or visiting a warm place for a few days like the Dominican Republic!
Is this just because hes indigenous. Because if so its fucking disgusting that this never happens with non indigenous kids and people. How is this preparing them for the world? People shouldn't have to baby indigenous just because they are a diferent colour....
What does it matter if it goes into the fat or muscle? I give myself Ivermectin injections and I like yo put it wherever I'm fattest in the upper hip or buttocks. Am I wrong for that!?
How to tell if you have Rheumatic Heart disease? I’v had Rheumatic Fever as a child but l dont think Doctors have taken that in consideration! Thank you for your reply ! 💁♀️💕🙏
I have a question, I just got diagnosed with rheumatic fever, symptoms started a month ago. I still have leg joint pains when I try to walk, and I still have body jerks when I’m about to fall asleep. Sometimes I have finger movement out of no where. They put me on oral penicillin v potassium 250mg, taking it twice a day. Not the injections. Is this correct? I’m not taking any other medication just the penicillin. And I know it’s different for all but will these symptoms I mentioned go away?
Was diagnosed at 12 years and got monthly penicillin injections till 18. My cardiologist advised then that I could reduce on the frequency to once or twice a year. It's been over 10 years and I feel great. It's important to run tests every year just to be certain all is well.
Hello, I've had my tonsils problems for years... after few years in, my heart problem started. l developed RHD after a few years and was told to finally took out my tonsils. I took an heart scan test (think its called EKG or EEG) and the heart beat patterns were missing lot of beats. Right now i feel that my heart would palpitate and skip a beat very often especially when i wake and before bed. I can feel it in my chest and my pulse when i get irregular heart beats. I am currently 28 years old, do i need to take meds to control it or do i need to get a surgery (i really want to solve this issue).Any help would be appreciated ... sorry about my English as i am no native speaker.

I'm very scared of the niddle, and I didn't take many of years after that my condition goes to worst and my rest valves get damaged. And need to me post valve surgery. In surgery my double valve gets replaced with mechanical prosthetic valves
Finally my wife got cured from cardiovascular disease using an herbal mixture from Dr. Gbenga, after 9 years of battling with this illness which almost claim the joy of our marriage.

Not another presentation with distracting music. This is not a cake baking demonstration. And a message to Menzies and RHD Australia... There are lectures from India, Columbia and America on rheumatic heart disease for health professionals but nothing from you guys on RU-vid?
The music is so loud it is difficult to pay attention to the lecture which is a shame because there are so few Australian lectures for Australian remote GPs.
