The engineer committed suicide by publishing his confession letter to the public, revealing that he killed his wife out of jealousy and that he regretted avoiding responsibility. 3. The confession letter reveals another painful truth faced by the engineer's other family members. 4. The destruction of the robot, perceived in society as the generalized symbol of artificial intelligence, is accompanied by political intrigues and murders.
