Alien Isolation will be looked back on in a few years as an indisputable MASTERPIECE and the ONLY shining beacon in the franchise. But, it will only be remembered fondly by those with an above room-temperature IQ (look at IGN's "review" LOL). I wouldn't be surprised if some fan modders will release a remaster of this game in the next 5 years (a-la Half Life/Black Mesa).
Wow you had super high hopes for the DLC . what did we get again? Really wish I didnt buy that horse armor back then . maybe DLC would have died off by now. Sad face.
Best thing about homecoming is using the knife to stun lock every monster to death and never getting hit. You didnt cover the majesty book of memory's . I have 10s of minutes in that one.
Alice and Mirror's Edge were the best games from EA, exploring female protagonists and new forms of game interaction. The game flow felt similar to other EA titles such as Dead Space and Crysis.
this looks so well done from the music to the cutscense to the color palet of the levels its a bit eerie .i just wish there was more to do gameplay wise
I was pissed off and forced myself to finish it by the end, but I still like it you know sh2 and sh3 voice acting made me laugh too sometimes like when Angela threw that TV and that fighting game effect played on rescreen where it pulses
I maintain that whenever you hear "Playtesters" as a plural and in a negative sense its ONE playtester who fucked up SUPER hard and screwed the pooch so bad they scared the entire dev team
I've recently come to the conclusion that Silent Hill 2's end boss is Maria for this reason: The Team Silent Silent Hill games are heavily influenced by Twin Peaks, and Twin Peaks's villains--Bob and Judy--are representations of the Biblical Samael and Lilith. The weird graffiti in SH2's bathroom at the rest stop is an amulet against Lilith too. So, Silent Hill 1 is about battling against Samael, while SH2 is about battling against Lilith.
I disagree with you I liked the guns and combat in the game and hated that Catalyst took them out. The mix of parkour and gunplay is so fun. No I dont wanna do it in Titanfall or COD.
I beat all three games. The first one is awesome but man did I hate that DDK system. Part two was the most fun and its story was bonkers. Part three I really wanted to like, but it just works against itself so much. I still love all three but they are all widely different and each one never truly felt like a sequel and more like testing for other games to see what people like and don’t like
Fantastic game! Sadly it goes a bit downhill narrative-wise as the supernatural elements really take root close to the end. But apart from that, it remains one of the most genuinly terrifying gaming experiences I've ever had. Everything from the visuals to the sound design, really bring the grit and horror of the world to life. Couple that with the punishing, yet very satisfying combat, and you get a modern day horror masterpiece.
City story is dumb and full of plotholes....proceeds to like the story of a game that introduces the ENTIRE rouges gallery in ONE night with many acting out of character to make events happen....uh-huh
When I was a kid, my older siblings and I played through this level with the lights out for ambiance, because so far, the game had been a piece of cake. Sure there were eerie moments but how could we suspect anything? Huge mistake lol. Between the ambience music, the shambling zombies and just the all out mood of the level, we ended up staying in the eldest out of the three of us's room that night because all three of us were scared.
Shout out DSP! Hey, @BoulderPunch, don't go hanging around that Darksydephil guy. There is something weird about @DSPGaming and I think it might be contagious.
Played this game when I was like 5 or 6 on a windows 98 PC. I love the Deus Ex series, currently playing Deus Ex: Revision on steam for a play through. God I love this game so much, definitely one of the top 5 games of all time!
Well, now we know that he died when Jack welcomed him into the family and the mold virus saved his body. That’s why he can heal his cut off arm and leg.
