I do a few series covering things from movies to bootleg toys. Phelous and the Movies is my primary comedic review show which also covers some TV shows in addition to movies. I primarily cover Animated and Horror movies on here and also like to cover franchises I really like such as The Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mortal Kombat. Bootleg Zones is all about covering bootleg and knock off products, primarily action figures such as the Galaxy Warriors, Bat Hero, Special Man and too many TMNT KOs to count! Bootleg Zones VG is where I take a look at silly knock of video games such as Lion King 5 and Pokemon Strange Gold. MMZ is where I talk some interesting official products in the same style of Bootleg Zones such as action figures from Transformers, TMNT and Ghostbusters! Old Man (from Beauty and the Beast) Reads Creepypastas is my silly story time show!
I am very much looking forward to seeing what they do next with the Warriors, Fighters and Adventure Girls. I am hoping that they also bring back Defenders of the Planets.
I don’t know anyone knows this but, Goodtimes had a video game division, known as GT interactive, which published and distributed the first doom and duke nukem games. Please keep in mind that the same people who distributed this distributed doom and duke nukem
I cannot believe it's taken almost 10 years but the Golden Films catalog is nearly cleared by Phelous... does this mean we will have a return to 00s horror?
Baltard being the blue archnemesis no one takes seriously because he's a total dork? Another thing taken from Masters of the Universe I guess. Who do you think would win in a slapfight, Baltard or Skeletor?
Coulier sounds like he’s trying to sound like Bill Murray, but misses the personality Bill brought to the character in the movie by a LONG shot. Lorenzo Music, however, didn’t need to sound like anybody else. Just his own voice inflections and the personality he put into the character were perfect just as is. I guess that’s why Bill Murray went on to voice Garfield in the two live action Garfield movies after Lorenzo’s passing in 2001; they perfectly complimented eachother’s characters in voice and personality in their respective performances. Coulier sounds like he’s trying to match Bill, and though the voice itself is KINDA in a similar ballpark, the personality is just nonexistent with the performance.
Guess this could be called "Baltard's revenge" since he went from laughing stock to main baddie. Also, I agree there should be a Tigerman. Especially if as monstrous as Anubi.
Man, Mattel must've been in a bad spot when Juice Box was in development. 70 dollars retail price and used that cheap, quickly degrading plastic that was used on some toys that even when new was already slightly sticky.
2:03 obviously he was so Nice, that he ordered 10,000 of his troops to kill 234 innocent people who were protesting that Nicholas II reform working conditions, which would go down in history to be called, Bloody Sunday. great job UAV… 👏
At 3:19, when you remove the arm and the peg comes with it, the peg looks like it's built the same on both sides, and seems the same across connections, so I'm wondering if there's some modulok-type stuff coming later in the line. The other thought is, I wonder if these are being designed to be somewhat cross compatible with the Motu origins figures, who feature a very similar gimmick of removable everything
Congratulations! To think you introduced a lot of us to an obscure galaxy of toy lines, and now you're introducing us to new versions of some of those characters! I really hope this takes off. Imagine new versions of the fearful beasts like the T-Rex and the Pegasaurus?
With the running gag of Michael and Jason, all I can think of with this review isn't just how ridiculously overpowered the Inbreds are in this film, but also: "Michael Myers is an escaped mental patient. Jason & Freddy? Different kind of movie!"
Second story reminds a little of norse myth giant building wall on asgard and asking for payment sun, moon and freya. Aesir cheated and Giant also ended up dead.
Im telling my kids this is the canon toy commercial for Galaxy warriors. Id love some of these but that price is pretty expensive, and peddling from bigbadtoystore is annoying cause they're even worse with prices, ill settle for origin and revelation heman figures unfortunately
Pfft. Baltard, Creator of Chaos. Baltard couldn't create suds if he was dipped in dish soap and rubbed his hands together. In all seriousness, this is great. I've never really been into humanoid figures like MOTU, but I'd be lying if I said Phelous' Galaxy Hole vids haven't gotten me interested in these. I'd see a lot of the MOTU retro style figs and wondered if the same would happen to Galaxy Warriors/Fighters/Heroes/etc. Heck, I even considered getting one to customize, that's how tempted I've been, but I guess Formo Toys has stepped up to the plate, lol. Spikes (the centurion) and Huk (the viking) would be cool in this updated style, especially to get even more of the direct Frank Frazetta influences in there (as an artist myself, I'm not really into the art theft Sungold pulled - even if they did redraw it - but I really admire the ambition). And heck maybe down the road they could do the beast mounts. They've dipped into Galaxy Fighters with Sunhawk - give us the Pegasaurus! I joke, but I eagerly await seeing customs of these made into Turly Gang characters. :B
