Even though I have arachnophobia, I think it's pretty cool. How about if you spray paint it white or silver? I do that with dandelion clocks and it helps kind of thicken them and show up better.
I would have this one in pride of place in a heartbeat! It's stunning! If you sell your pieces, I hope you make sure that you get an appropriate price for them.
Wow, that's incredible! I've long wanted to make a piece of art using a real spider web, and now you've shown me a fantastic way to do it. Thank you! You have a new subscriber.
Wow... that's amazing. I don't think I would have the patience to create such a beautiful piece like that. Kudos to you in your trials, errors and success. Just my 1 cent
The last pour looked like it was full of bubbles, how did those all disappear? I thought the number 1 thing with resin was to avoid bubbles in the liquid?
The way I add granules to resin items is with UV resin. It cures quickly and you can sand a small hole, mix them into some resin and then pour them in. It’s a little less time consuming, but you get a cleaner solution to just dumping dry pellets into it.
I’m glad to see someone brave enough to use blue + orange together, not many ppl do but the two are favourites of mine and look so amazing in this beauty
I enjoyed watching you create this.. I love the orange colour.. The overall look is awesome..i really like the clear marbles..i think i would have a couple of clear bigger bubbles up top as well. Very clever and cool idea❤😊
Something you may want to try to stabilise the web is place the web in a box with a tea light heating a small tray of super glue. It should vaporize and attcah to the web but also leave a white haze to it when it dries
I had seen this video, gave it a thumbs up and commented how beautiful it was. You responded back with a thank you. I just watched the video again and have subscribed to your channel. I love watching artistic channels especially when they are new to the RU-vid platform. Keep up the good work. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Oh thank you for that, it's appreciated. I hope my channel brings something a little different to the space. Glad you enjoyed it enough to watch it twice!
Thank you! I use polyester resin, which I think is thinner than most epoxys, so the bubbles just naturally float to the top before the resin has hardened
