Ah Nazeem. "To kill a mocking- prick." Quest giver: Self. Soul Tear at three words of power, use "I'm Thane" get out of jail free card. Nice. Side note: I especially like the Scroll of Guardian Circle for random dragon attacks where there's no cover to be found.
If you drop your stuff on the floor and then order your Follower to pick it up, they can carry it even if it puts them over carry weight, even though they won't take it off you in the trade menu.
Fun video.😉 I've beaten the game multiple times. Now when I play its mostly for my amusement. I now use mods that allow me to skip some factions like the Companions, Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild. I've also come to the conclusion that some cities its not worth becoming thane...I'm looking at you Riften and Windhelm. Riften reeks of Maven Blackbriar, and Windhelm is a dump(so much for being Ulfric's Hold and the ancient capital...the place is a sh*tpile). Besides I never use the houses in those cities, so being a thane there is useless. Winterhold doesn't even give you anything for being a thane except bragging rites(besides with the Magical College of Winterhold mod, the Archmage's quarters are nicer than any house one can buy, and its yours for free after the quest). Markarth's Thane home is damned inconvienent to get to and the stone beds look damned uncomfortable😜😉 For me the only cities its worth to be Thane are Whiterun, Solitude, Morthal, Falkrieth, and Dawnstar, and thats really because the houses are convienient to use. Breezehome because you can stash early loot there, and in Solitude your home can serve as a nice base for many of the quests in and around the city. The other three Hearthfire homes have their own benefits.
Wow. The people in this chat absolutely suck at giving directions. I feel so bad for Longbrow right now. Edited to add: The fire salt quest was optional for helping people in Riften. It's not the primary question for becoming Thane. You need to bust the drug supplier (which you have), then go to a cave where the supplier's contacts come from and deal with them.
No, he did that last stream - you also need to assist 3 citizens - but if you help the skooma addict, make the run to Shor's Stone, & clear out the mine spiders there - there's your 3 - easy as pie
Personally I think that Delphine is more annoying than Nazeem. Not only she uses you for her own ends in the main story, but she will even betray you if you won't kill a certain dragon (she did even stated that the blades faction guide the dragonborns).
The PS4 has a mod allowing you to skip the Kill Parthunax quest. I haven't used it. By the time I get to that point I'm usually fed up with Delphine and Esteban, so I just ignore them after I find out about Dragonrend and go see Parthunax for the first time. I wish the PS4 allowed the mod that makes both non essential so I could off both of them...preferably by shouting them to death.😉
I really don't want to break it to you, but there is an Mod for Skyrim to remove the requirements to purchase Player Houses without becoming Thane or being liked enough to get permission to buy property. I've just dowloaded it for my PS4 game I'm doing right now. It saves time, and would let you be able to buy all the houses after to get the money for them and their decorations.😉 Yeah its cheating, but as the late, great Bobby the Brain Heenan would say, " If you're not cheating, you're not trying hard enough!"😁😁😁
