For me, he's better than Pat at the same career stage. They're kinda at least same tier because i did think about this, i hate the comparison, i think Caleb carves out his own lane. But it is a interesting debate for me, pat has the stronger arm, that's why i hate the comparison. Caleb's arm seems more Kyler Murray level, he might even have a lil more touch than Kyler, kylers arm might be slightly stronger. Caleb has the better footwork and for me the numbers say Celeb's been the better player, pat counters that argument with the fact he did what he did with less talent around him at Texas Tech, but then Caleb counters pat with he's done what he's done at two different schools with two different personnel groups. the funny thing is when people try to knock Caleb, they'll use the same argument they used against when he entered the league about the decision making, the difference is his turnover rate is wildly lower than pat in college, and he's won a Heisman before his junior year. regardless i'm sold lol, im tryna see who isn't and why. dude is Victor Wembanyama of the NFL to me.
Most every issue i have with him is a question he can't answer until the combine. i wonder if his speed is more Quintin Johnson, less Julio, i honestly think it is. i see a lot of fitz with him, maybe he's Megatron? i don't love his releases, that jump skip release you showed earlier should get him lit up at the line of scrimmage but he's so strong, it might just cancel out, not in love with his agility either. i don't even think that kills him, i just think maybe AD Mitchell has more potential athletically and for me i wonder if he's the 2nd or 3rd receiver off the board, next year. Marvin Harrison Jr Vs Rome Odunze is a thing to me on the low low, i think they're similar body types i don't know whose the better prospect yet and i am the lone wolf on this, i'm certain he's a 1st rounder, i just don't know where to slot him yet. he feels like a floor prospect in some ways, but he's not perfect, there is so much room to jrow but in the same breath, i'm quite certain his bloodlines will make him at least a good player, it's weird.
I get the speed concern, I definitely would have expected QJ to run much faster than he did, so a similar thing could happen with MHJ. I don’t think the hop/skip releases are a concern, Davante Adams is well now for that, and MHJ reminds me a lot of a bigger and faster version of him. I love his agility personally and he reportedly posted a 3.94 pro shuttle. He was number 2 on Feldmans freak list for a reason. Haven’t watched AD at all so can’t comment on that and I’ve only seen Rome in passing.

Yes check it out guys he had Max Dugan thrown at him don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with Max wait to Justin Herbert gets on the field with them holy crap you might be singing Sweet Caroline all the way down the field
Everyone all ready knows Bryce young is the number 1 QB in the draft. ...to be honest , I don't see any of them being a Franchise quarterback. They'll eventually be back ups.
This guys comp is Johnny Manziel as a prospect. I don't think he'll be able to scramble, get outside the pocket as much as he does in college. Justin Fields gets caught by NFL DE's all the time. This guy is going to be getting thrown down by D Lineman with 1 arm. Hes the same size as a High school girl volleyball player. Absolutley 0 upside with all the risk
His lack of pass rush moves concerns me cuz all the tackles in the league are huge. He’s not gonna be able to bill rush everyone and doesn’t have the quickness to go inside on any other move
Did y’all play football 😮 this sounds like hate bc you couldn’t play watch the tape he plays with effort with his gifts no one is perfect when he’s drafted and goes to the von Miller pass rush summit and his coaching he will be great
@@chickenwityamz I did feel like he was winning more than losing despite some flaws in his game. I think he is more of a rotational guy early in career, then will blossom into an every down edge later on
It's hard to win in the league with only speed/ bend. Even Reddick, who people have comped him too can win with power. I think he'll be a good player. I am with you on Will Anderson. But i still like him as edge 1. Ecspecially if he really plays at 253
I'm just not that high on any of this edge class, they're all around the same tier for me, I just think Nolan has more high end traits than Anderson. Even Nolan would have been like EDGE 4 or 5 to me in last years class.
@Joe Griffin Yea, I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one that sees it with Anderson. Again, he's a really good player imo but I never understood what people were seeing. I think it's the production at Bama. I'm very intrigued by Wilson. If I'm swinging for the fences he's my pick
Always been a fan of his and as a Eagles fan ,really like CB Gonzalez need young and slays last season. Really like his first step his hands just have to be way better and need multiple moves
Hey Joe you got a IG or something because I’m just getting into the draft and would love to see you’re big board or position rankings if you can send me them it will be nice.
He kind of soft and always wants to win with speed. He said at the combine today that he has a hard time waking up in the morning and gets up at 6:30 with 4 alarms. Then he starts the morning on his phone until he fully awakes. I want a guy that jumps up and is at the Gym at 5:30 AM
That’s not necessarily a bad thing as long as you show tf up on game day. Plenty of STARS don’t even like practicing and still show out when it matters
Now that it seems Jalen Carter is out of the picture for the Bears, I really hope they take this kid, because he is unstoppable… If they want pressure up the middle, a DT who plays with a high motor, violent hands, and relentless disruption ..Kancey needs to be their pick.. his size is not the problem. It's the reason for his success. At 6 feet tall, 280 pounds, he's got the leverage and strength to beat nearly anyone off the snap… He's so damn quick and fast… great at the rush and stopping the run as he's always in the backfield..He's likely going to be held quite often in the NFL because of this. So they better really consider taking him in the draft… Two other guys I like are Van Ness and Tuipulotu… I think both are underrated guys who are versatile enough to play edge or interior… And I would love it if they drafted Jack Campbell to play middle linebacker… Now that would be a great start for the defense.
Three past NFL QB's come to mind, similar athleticism, concerns, and varying careers. Randall Cunningham, Doug Williams, and Andre Ware. Ware won the Heisman in 1989 and was the 7th overall pick by the Lions in 1990 (played only a handful of games in his career). If he develops the poise of Cunningham, that would be a good upside and playing style. Doug Williams did win one Super Bowl, but his career was considered mixed. He too had a low completion percentage but looked really good at times.
