HELP ME, FATHER 🙇🏾♂️🤣!! Lestat ALWAYS said he ain't been bout that "Struggle Life ✋🏻😒" since he was sharing a 1 room flat with Nicci when he was a struggling actor, right before he got "turned 🧛🏼"!!
Because of "unrequited" love. He knew that Louise would never or at the very least, could not love him as much as he loved Lestat. He couldn't be Louise's dream lover despite sacrificing so much of himself (i.e. his identity & coven), so he was resentful and hurt about that. Him offing Louise & his "step-child" was a sick attempt at him choosing himself, I guess.
Love your glasses! I was intrigued by The Watchers, but I was also on the fence about watching another Shyamalan film, since Old worked my last nerve. I didn't have high expectations for Tarot, but I did think the creature/production design looked really impressive. Streaming it is! 👌👌👌

The thing is, as much as I loved Armand from his own book, he was a bit of a bastard even while he was alive. He played games, he would string people along which eventually would result in the last guy he strung along to do something that would eventually kill him if Marius didn’t turn him. By the end of the book he redeemed himself, but through his years he was extremely destructive.
I have this theory already with Sister (don't cancel me please because that's her name) Sage and that Homelander is going to get screwed by Sage either this season or the last season.
It just looks like that could be the direction where I believe that it's going with either Sage betraying Homelander or Homelander is going to betray Sage. I hope there's a Sage spin-off series because this character has a lot of legs. 😊
@TG5455 I don't know what you're talking about. 1st of all, it goes without saying that everyone has their own taste in music 🎶. I never said they didn't or couldn't. I simply stated MY opinion. 2ndly, I said I "LIVED " ---- which means I LOVED 💗 IT --- for that soundtrack despite the fact I TYPICALLY don't go for that kind of music. So clearly, I wasn't taking what you said in any other manner but a jovial way. So . . . yeah 😐 🦗🦗🦗
I caught it too -- what one of your chat folks said about the rocks. I never realized it till that scene that Louis sought peace by sticking his feet in coffin rocks, which worked fine for burials at sea back in the day. This made me notice that the reading room's flowered tree was the same as trees seen in earlier strolls around Paris. How in the world did Louis ever expect to forget what happened when he keeps powerful reminders in his penthouse/psych ward/low-security prison?
@@The_5th_Wall What?? Sis, Louis had Daniel sticking his feet in the stupid coffin rocks this season, while Armand was gone and they'd hit a wall in their "Odyssey of Recollection", trying to remember San Francisco. "This sh!t doesn't work!" I think Daniel snarked while pulling his feet out of the rocks.
Soooo apparently, I saw on another RU-vid that in season 1 after the fight, there were dents in the coffin post fight, and the Louis/ Lestat fight explains why!!! I think there are ways Lestat was coerced AND I wonder about Armand’s accounting of things! This ep was excellent (Give them All the awards PLEASE!) And did you hear? There’s going to be a Season 3!!!! And y’all will be gagged with the new characters and Lestat in a new element.

I laughed back when Mr. Talamasca first said his name. Raglan James is the title character who tricks Lestat into the ultimate identity swap in "Tale of the Body Thief". As for Madeline, I think of Claudia as more of a dwarf than a child, since she's 40 and her love interest is 30. Just glad she found somebody who would put her first, for a change.
It was obvious that the part about Louis being the one pursuing/seducing Lestat was A SCRIPT. The coven wanted the audience to think of Louis as dangerous and a threat to Lestat - because they are accusing him of premeditated murder. Just like any lawyer, the coven's script was intended to make the audience have sympathy for Lestat. Again, all very obvious. And it was even more obvious when Lestat would go off script.
@@The_5th_Wall When Santiago was describing Louis to an almost all-white audience, he was like some right-wing talk show host and the way they portray Black men. Louis was a predator hunting Lestat. He was a violent thug, a low thing unworthy of humankind, undeserving of mercy. I almost heard Alderman Fenwick from last season before Louis sliced and diced his ass, saying, "It's a sinking ship. And naturally, Louis, you are the first to drown."
I'm still broken by her last moments. Armand, Louis, they all complicit. Also, doesn't matter if Madeline could have refused the gift. She never had a good human life and was no stranger to suffering. Mad respect for her claiming Claudia till their shared end.
First of all, Armand, lol, you know what, every time we catch a glimpse of him, he's over there looking down like, "Sir, I know you're not reading the script and taking notes," lol. Second, Claudia with the "Can I cry too and say sorry?" Ugh, felt. Third, Lestat and Armand, why aren't y'all throwing hands and popping fangs? Y'all can take the whole coven! Like, what is going on, lol? Like… where is the big D energy? You know what, I can't with them
Santiago took Claudia's yelllow dress... Why did he do that? I have a theory. The packed human audience have seen and learned far more about vampires than ever before (with the exception of a certain organisation), they've witnessed the death of two vampires, AND were allowed to leave with their lives. If I was as messed up and bloodthirsty as we know Santiago is, I would hunt down these people and fulfill Claudia's dying vow. Maybe work the dress in somewhere to really freak them out and let 'em know why death has come knocking. 😅 It's hella theatrical and over the top. For all his manipulations and back stabbing, I think Santiago did like Claudia in his own way, so this would be a fitting tribute to her while also getting rid of witnesses and having a bit of a laugh in the process. He could even stretch his acting chops by mimicking Claudia's voice. 😢 Oh, I just scared myself! 😅
I love me a good reaction but ladies we need yalls screens to be bigger. lol We've seen the show already we here for yall. Been loving your super-long format reviews, they make my workday
Lestat didn't tell Louis about the rules. Now Madeline they knew but they did tell Armand but Armand gave over power to someone that hated Louis and Armand was probably tired of them breaking laws and wanted Claudia out But didn't want to do it so he gave power to Santiago
I think him saying its a law was something the coven put into the script. He probably never actually said that to louis. He followed it up with saying he broke it and he should be punished too. This was a 3 bird one stone situation armand created. With lestat, he got claudia killed, free from the coven and finally got louis to hate lestat forever. Now he can live his life with louis and no strings attached.
The problem is that Louis's reflection on past events is unreliable. In the end, Lestat should of told them about the laws and history of the vampire. In season 1 he says "the one's who must be kept". He is talking about Akasha and Ankle, the Egyptian kind and queen of the damned. Lestat knows all the history of the vampire he learned it in the 100 years in-between Nikki dieing and getting to New Orleans. It's why Lestat is soo powerful he has drank the blood of The queen the first and most powerful. But he is sworn to secrecy because if they die all vampires die. Also there keeper Armons maker a 2000 year old vampire Marius would probably kill Lestat if he tells anyone.
