Watch as this in-depth Bible study brings new meaning and power to your life. “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
Jesus prayed for deliverance in the garden, from his upcoming death, with strong crying, tears and blood. His prayer was heard by the Father, because he feared God, but the answer was that he must suffer the law's penalty of death in order to pay for the sins of his people. Jesus’ prayer was heard, but he was not delivered from death. He who knew no sin became sin for us, so that we could be made the righteousness of God in him.
Christ’s priesthood is after the “order of Melchizedek.” It is an eternal priesthood and Christ ever lives to make on-going intercession for us. Like Melchezidek, Christ is forever Priest, Prophet and King.
So happy I found this channel.......I grew up in a church that studied verse by verse and it's so hard to find a church these days that goes Verse by Verse! Thank you again

Jesus learned to obey the Father through his suffering. He sacrificed himself, once-for-all, therefore his priesthood is eternal. Jesus is a priest after the “order of Melchizedek.” So, at the same time that he is our Great High Priest, he is also Prophet and King. Thus, his salvation is eternal for all who believe. Jesus learned to obey the Father through his suffering. His priesthood took him to the point death. He was both priest and sacrifice. Thus, he became the author of eternal salvation for us.
No, not at all. God circumcises out hearts (without human hands) and the Holy Spirit baptizes us into Christ. Please listen to the video again. God Bless.
@@BIbleStudyVersebyVerse I will, thank you. I've always believed we get baptized in obedience, however I've been questioning that lately. Isn't it all just spiritual. Old Testament was physical & New Testament-spiritual

Old Testament high priests offered gifts and sacrifices to God for themselves first and their fellow Jews. They were appointed by God from the tribe of Levi and from the family of Aaron. They could sympathize with the people because they also had infirmity. Jesus priesthood was similar but different from the Levitical priesthood. He also was appointed by God but his priesthood is eternal and in heaven. He can sympathize with our infirmities because he was in all points tempted like we are yet without sin. His priesthood is of a higher order than that of the Levitical priesthood. He is both King and Priest and of the order of Melchisedec.

Thank-you for clarifying this topic. 🙏🏼 ✨It’s hovered on my mind…my uncle recently passed and my mother stated she has no feelings about losing her brother. She’s flippant about having no emotions, has made peace with it and proclaimed she’s is not afraid of death. As much as we all crave for our family members to embrace God, some are determined to walk their own path. She was raised Catholic but raised us as atheists. I returned to Christ in my twenties seeking Him. So beyond grateful to have the guidance of my Holy Spirit, and the blessings God has bestowed in our home. Our children have greatly benefited! 💖 To those reading this that require help, don’t become void…walking in God’s light is a journey and one extremely worth taking!! 💫🕊️
God has a throne of grace for all those who come to him by the Great High Priest, Jesus Christ. So, we can expect that God will answer our prayers with mercy and grace. We can come boldly to God's throne of grace to find help in time of need.
Thank you for this important, very helpful message. And thank You, Father, giving You all glory through our Lord Jesus by His Holy Spirit. SHALOM and MARANATHA! 🙏♥️✝️✡️🇺🇲🇮🇱🎺⚖️
We can hold fast to our faith because Jesus, our High Priest, has sympathy with our infirmities. He was in all points tempted like we are. Yet, Jesus was without any sin of his own.
We can hold fast to our profession of faith in God because Jesus is our “Great High Priest.” Jesus has passed into the heavens so his priesthood is there, in the presence of God, not on Earth. We can hold fast to our profession because Jesus is the Son of God. He has all power in Heaven and Earth and all things are committed to his hands.

We can hold fast our profession of faith because our Great High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, has entered into the heavens for us to appear in the presence of God. Jesus has sympathy for our infirmities; he was in all points tempted like we are yet without sin. Because of these things, we can come boldly to the throne of God's grace in order to get mercy and grace when we need help.
Without the Word of God we would be “lost” as to who God is. The Bible is a “living” book and gives us life: God uses it to save souls. The word of God is powerful in that it awakens our conscience, shows us our sin, shows us our need for the Lord Jesus and salvation. Faith comes by hearing it. The word discerns the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. Through it, all creatures are naked and open to the eyes of God.
God's “rest” is the hard work which Christians do now as God is making us into his heavenly temple. This is in order for us to live with him, and worship him there. We enter his rest by faith; by hearing the word of God and being obedient to it; by working hard; and, by having a soft heart toward God.

Death is certain for sinners, God will see to it. It is his promise that the “wages” of sin is death. However, the power of sin has been broken in the life of Christians by the gift of God in Christ. And, as we used to yield ourselves to uncleanness, now we can yield ourselves, with the same energy, to righteousness for God. The fruit of sin is death but the fruit of faith in Christ is righteousness, everlasting life and holiness.

I once thought that words mattered little and that sticks and stones would break bones but words can never hurt me. Then Christ came into my life and literally gave me life through his words. The most important words are from the father and if you seek him, then we can be the word for others. So thank you God for your Word, Jesus Christ has blessed me so much through obedient sons like Pastor Bake.

Sin does not rule over those who are under grace, their approach to God is only by faith in Christ. God forbid that we should sin because we're not under the law but under grace. Grace is not a license to sin. You are either a servant of righteousness or of sin depending upon to whom you yield yourself in obedience.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:33-34
Christians are enabled, as they identify with Christ’s death, to yield to God and put their sins to death. We must consider ourselves to be dead to sin. And, to yield ourselves to God to live in righteousness for him.
Jesus rose from the dead and conquered sin, never to die again. His sacrifice was a “once-for-all” atonement for the sins of all God’s people. He died once, but he is alive to God forevermore.
Jesus conquered death when he rose from the dead so that death has no dominion over him. His death accomplish the forgiveness of sin for all of God's people, for all time. Christ’s death allows us to have victory over our sin so that sin does not reign in our bodies.
We are joined with Christ in his death so that, because of his resurrection, we can live a new life abounding in the work of the Lord. We can stopping sin and having victory over sin, while Christ works in us. Our “old man” was destroyed on the cross with Jesus’ crucifixion; so that we should not be servants to our sin any longer. When we have died with Christ, in his crucifixion, we are free from sin.
I was expecting to hear examples of how to speak with grace ! But I didn’t hear it ! So sad ! anyways, God bless and thank you so much brother for this Bible teaching ! I guess God will guide me in this 🙏🏾💜!
Well, you're certainly correct, this doesn't tell you what to say but it certainly tells us what attitudes and graces stand behind the way in which we speak. Hopefully that will be more helpful. Baptism is a picture of what it means to be dead to sin. It is a symbolism of death. Water baptism is about dying with Christ so we can be raised to walk in a new life. There are many symbolic baptisms in the Scripture. They have to do with: deliverance from an enemy; death by crucifixion; being placed by the Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ; and identifying with the death of Christ and his resurrection.
Thank you for your interpretation of 1 Peter 3:18-20. It was very helpful. I enjoyed that you used the Bible to interpret the Bible. I’ve written down these verses next to the said passages.
Grace is greater than all our sin! But, that does not mean that we can continue to sin because grace will abound and cover it. Because Christ died for sin, and we died in Christ, we also are dead to sin. We have to consciously put our sin to death so we can live for God in righteousness.
