Hi, I'm Thaneeya! 😃 If you love art and creativity, you're in the right place! 🎨 As a full-time professional artist for over 20 years, I'm delighted to share the joy of making art with you! 💕
Over the years, I've published over 30 coloring books that have sold over 4 million copies worldwide. You can find the links below! 💖
This is why I photo my drawings after they're made, and then not hang them up unless im ok with them fading. I just really dont care much for using paints (too messy) or crayola markers (too streaky and inconsistent). Crayons are stressful unless you're like a pro at them and pencil crayons take a LONG time to get nice colours, and they're fragile. So even if alcohol markers aren't the best, they're great for me. Though I usually use an oil/real ink outliner so it's crisp and wont easily bleed
Even though I will NEVER use this information about alcohol marker art, I think people need to stress the fact that you NEED to back up digital files of your artwork, back up photographs, just do it and do it on one or two external hard drives
I used alcohol markers for some of my arts, just for fun. But I dont know what will happen to my outcome overtime when it fades.. some works that I did made me proud, but.. maybe if it fades, I dont mind about it
I noticed with water markers actually. One of my oranges totally faded after just few days. Didn't happen tho when it wasn't exposed to a lot of light so i learnt to not keave my drawings right on the table but rather keep them in a note book or in a drawer
Hey thx for this since imma noobie and my parents just got me tgese alcohol markers thx so much itisnt perfect but its tye best art work iv'e done ❤❤❤❤
15 seconds in and I knew this was going to talk about how the entire 'marker art' world is based on fugitive dyes. Crafters; journallers; instagrammers: reject modernity, return to oiliness.
Such a good video. Very interesting and informative! I didn’t know this about alcohol markers so I’m really glad I found your channel. Keep up the great work! 😁👍
I have a colouring book from you and it's SO cool that I get to see this video from you now ❤❤ That book was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. it was gifted to me by a family member. It is the "Today I choose Joy" book 😊❤ And damn did it give me sooo much joy. Your drawings and the way I enjoyed colouring that book, opened my eyes to what type of art I enjoy making and how much I love using colours and different patterns and styles of drawing. Thank you 💜💜
YAY, it's really awesome to hear how much you loved my "Today I Choose Joy" coloring book!! 🥰 I'm so happy it brought you joy and expanded your creativity! Thanks so much for letting me know ~ it really makes my day!! Happy Art-Making!! 😃🎨💖
Just found your channel. Thank you so very much for these amazing tips, you have maybe kept me from selling all of my alcohol markers. I was SO FRUSTRATED, but maybe now there is hope. 😊😊😊
" Groovy Poodle " Lmfao! Never thought I would hear those two words put together! You're very articulate, as well. Thanks for the "heads up" so to speak about the Marker's.
Inktense are also a great alternative to makers. They are more vibrant than regular watercolor pencils, and dry permanent as long as all the pigment is dissolved.
como arquitecto no me importa mucho si pierde color con los años puesto que los bocetos son para mostrar ideas en el momento, por otro lado me desiluciona un poco que se degrade tan rapido, de todas formas si vale la pena los colores son vibrantes y facil de usar ♥
Incredible video….thank you for all the effort you clearly put into making this! I’m now beginning to understand why so many people have said I’m “different” 😂
Hey Thaneeya! I have loved your art for many years! When I was a Psych Nurse for Adolescent kids in a long-term unit, I took it upon myself to create and set up the weekend creative projects there and matched them with the skills they were learning each week! ( Flexes my artsy muscle). I wanted you to know that I purchased your Sugar Skull Coloring Pages, and Printed them along with other coloring/art activities. Hands down, these troubled sometimes psychotic, violent, often abused, and neglected kids-LOVED YOUR SUGAR SKULLS THE BEST! Just thought you'd love to know!
Thank you so much for your comment! It's really cool to hear that your young patients connected so strongly my Sugar Skull Coloring Pages! 💖 It's wonderful that you provided them with so many creative activities and therapeutic outlets. I'm truly honored to have been part of it. Thank you for letting me know, and for being such a positive force for those kids!! 🎨🌟
This was very interesting. I don’t feel like I am a natural artist like yourself but I have always felt like the artistic desire and ability was in me somewhere. I just needed a little spark of inspiration to get my brain going in that direction. Since I’ve been following you and learning new tools and techniques, my natural creativity, skills, and desire to leave my comfort zone has greatly improved. I really crave that regular art time for my self care. I want to make time to check out some of your research links, so thanks for sharing. Also, I love how even your business attire is so charming and true to your personality. Cute glasses ❤🤓
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Christina! 😃 It's wonderful that you've been exploring your artistic side, learning so much and devoting time to making art. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful posts in my coloring group, which demonstrate that you have a real talent for art! You pick up new techniques extremely well and you have a fabulous sense of color! 😍🎨 I'm truly honored that I've been part of your creative journey. Thank you also for your comments on my business attire! 🥰 I was pleased I was able to cobble together an outfit that worked for those scenes, and delighted that I found an excuse to wear those glasses! 😁
Wow!! Loved this video, Thaneeya. I learn’t so much about why you are such an amazing artist, but not only that, but how I can improve my own brain health & creativity too. Well done again on this top notch video. It was full of wonderful information. Xx🙂👍👋👋👋👋👋

Cooool! That's great stuff to learn, and it only took me around...15 years to find a comprehensive tutorial! ;_; One thing that bums me out is that I bought watercolor paper, thinking I could use markers on it. I see that's not a good idea for the alcohol markers. Bah! I don't like the mess of painting now, I'd rather the mess of markers. LOL But I have some bristol paper left, so I'll keep up with that!
