First, you are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! I had so much fun watching this video ~ it made me smile!!! I’ve been coloring with prismacolor pencils only and wanted to add something to my coloring game. I’ve read so much about the alcohol markers but haven’t been able to afford them at this time. But I do have about 40 different colored sharpies and thanks to your video I just brought them out and I’m starting to play with them. I’m having a blast! When I’m done with the markers I’m going to practice shading with my colored pencils on top. Thank you so very much for this video and sharing your artistic talent with the world! I subscribed and can’t wait to watch your other videos. I have cancer and can’t do all of the things I used to do, coloring is my passion now and you’ve really inspired me to make it even more enjoyable! I’m saving my money to get a set of artist alcohol markers but until then, I will enjoy my Sharpies the way you taught me. Bless you!

Loved this video. I really learned a lot. Can I use Prisma colored pencils instead of Crayola for the same affect?

Thanks so much, Melanie! 🥰 So happy that this video was useful to you! 😃 Yes, you can absolutely use this technique with Prismacolor colored pencils, or any other brand of colored pencils. In fact, it probably works better with Prismacolors than Crayolas because the Prismas are more pigmented and layer more easily. 😍 Go for it! 🌟
