Surprised to see Shadow Hearts on here. It's a good game, but I still need to finish it (am around 60% bit having a break to finish BoF 1. You didnt mention Koudelka, it is the first game in the series happening before Shadow Hearts, but I dont think you need to play it first tho. If you dont know it you should really check it out. It is a horror RPG with tactical grid battles and the BEST and most enchanting battle music I have heard. Cool to see Xenosaga 3, I am trying to get my hands on all 3 but either they are waaaay too expensive or just not around..
It's sad how there a ton of reasons why Xenogears isn't getting remade nor remastered. But for Xenosaga it's comes down Bandai Namco's greed, laziness, & unfaithfulness in their own IPs. Really don't like that company right now.
I just started playing 12 for the first time, after first seeing the teaser screenshots years and years and years ago in Electronic Gaming Monthly. I'm playing The Zodiac Age Remastered, with like some really intensely upscaled textures (that still keep the aesthetic) and seeing it on here makes me miss that low res ps2 grunginess. Fantastic game so far. Just got done talking to the Dreamer. The gambit a.i. system is actually kind of awesome. Its a bit much at first, and you're really limited with what you can do and how you can do it, but just like the Golem a.i. system in Legend of Mana, theres a depth too it that just feels so cathartic when you see it land without your direct intervention. I love Ivalice. That whole world is just so perfect to me. It feels like a much more high tech but still like high fantasy grounded world compared to Final Fantasy Tactics which obviously takes place MUCH MUCH further in the past. But that political intrigue just has me. Its just freaking got me, and I have that feeling where I just can't wait to get back to playing it ~ and that feeling has become more and more rare for me as I've gotten older.
i have played most of the games of this video, i like this video a lot, i got amazed of legendia story, the music, the art and the extra chapters, not my tales best game but i liked better than abyss and others like eternia or zestiria, ffxii is a mixed bag for me so yeahh, its a good one to play, i wanna play unicorn overlord and triangle strategy but i am glued playing the trails series so... bad for the games in my backlog.
Trying the FF14 free trial right now and it definitely looks to be taking a lot of cues from FF12's unique style, complete with open world, numerous species and good writing. The only problem I ever really had with FF12 was the dull combat.
Can someone tell what the scenes at the very beginning of the video are from? I think the Xenosaga trilogy deserves a remaster. I've only ever played the first game, despite owning all three physically, but would really like to see them on modern hardware. Unfortunately they seem to share the list with titles like the Shadow Hearts trilogy and Valkyrie Profile 2, that never will be ported or remastered.
wait wait wait ....wait what ??? 0:15 how da hell he say BEGAN to BEGIN .... who are u ... wheres da real Erikkk... what didcha do to himmmm .... ah ...my mistake... he still say BEGAN.. but with ,i, ... so lets BEGAIN 0:15 ... wahhahahaha .. his trademark , love it lol
This is why I'm getting as many unique rpg games as I can find on my switch. I want a library of games I can rotate through with unique gameplay that will never get me bored. Rpg can make systems fun with a few changes here and there and that's half the fun

I need to play eternal sonata already. I was also suprised about ff11. I think you arent supposed to think Vann is cool, which makes him and balthier even funnier.
Unicorn overlord really shocked by how good it was When i first saw the combat system i lost interest but when i continued on ,it ended up becoming one of my best games And i fell in love with the combat system
Valkyria Chronicles 4. Never thought I'd have so much fun playing a war game like that. Double for code name steam Fe fates and engage. Rocking good gameplay system that is never tiring to have fun playing. Bug fable. It has things I wish the ttyd remake just stole from like all missions being accepted at once. Plus gameplay is fire when you know how to combo Tokyo mirage sessions. I like how the side characters can help combo too as games with team attacks are always fun
Alright, I started "Divine Force" for myself today because of this video. Can't really say much unless its difficulty turned me off. Faced the first boss and it oneshotted one of my allies on lowest difficulty (!!!). Also the battle combat with jumping / floating and attack feels uncomfortable for me. In general the combat is rather comparable to Ys for me for the combat being field action based. Music from what I've heared it is great although both games share the same composer.
I'm not a huge fan of Fromsoft's "passive" style of storytelling either, but what truly kills the series for me is the painfully sluggish controls. I get that it's a design decision to promote more tactical gameplay (you touched on this), but to me it just feels like every movement my character makes is done neck deep in mud. The Nioh series are the only soulslikes that I've ever been able to get into and I imagine the quick, precise, fighting game / Ninja Gaiden style controls are the primary reason why.
Less is more. That's the best advice you can get. Remember when you had 20-30 VHS movies to watch from as a kid, and you watched and rewatched them and still got enjoyment of them? The same thing can be done with games. Why are you always searching for the best next new experience? Go back to those games you haven't touched since 10 years. ONLY buy the games you can't get your mind off for more than 6 months, and sell the ones you don't enjoy or have no significance to you. Hope it helps
I think the notation is somewhat weird, "nothing special": 7 Maybe it's cultural differences, but for me, something which is nothing special, doing the bare minimum is a 4 or 5, and I consider a 7 being something good
Super disappointed with the state the game was released in. They should have delayed the game. At this point, they should release a patched version of the disc in the future and issue it to all the backers. And just use ai to translate the game. It would honestly be better, even if it isn't perfect.
Oh, Idk this is a remaster of the Wii game. I remember watching a LP by TheRunawayGuys some years ago, and it looked appealing. However only fun to play with other human players most likely. Idk if it supports online co-op, and even if so, Idk how popular this is to get four people together to play it. For a single player it's probably rather not worth it, I suspect.
Играю в Tales of Arise с зелёного магазина, первый раз играю в серию Tales of . В целом нравится игра. Erick, would you mind to make guide videos for different Jrpg?
Death end re;Quest's "bad endings" are built for a very specific niche, called "Ryona". Basically, it's fanservice for sadists who want to see cute girls in pain.
