I’ll say it. George raped Meredith. She was drunk and emotionally vulnerable; her mind was not in a state to consent.

*spoiler* I don’t think it betrayed us. I like how SATC always gave both perspectives of marriage and singleness. I think Miranda kept Carrie humble lol, and ultimately I feel Carrie ending up with Big was still messy, cuz essentially they were both still on the wild side in a way. It wasn’t a fairytale ending in my mind. Now if she ended up with Alex.. that would’ve been upsetting.

Aging? They are only in their 30s, they still have good skin. Wait until they hit their late 40s, 50s and menopause, it doesn't matter how much "self care" you did as far as avoiding the sun, not smoking, excercising and eating healthy, you are still going to age regardless, have wrinkles, and sagging skin. I know I lived a healthy life and I'm 57, and all women I know age pretty much equally, unless you do something drastic like plastic surgery. However you can still be healthy and active right up into your 90s if you continue a healthy lifestyle, which is more important than looking young.

TBH your channel has been having the same problem as the movie industry(instead of something new we get the 10th video about SATC or friends) - though I understand the reasons.. either way this is very refreshing

Regina is basically the FEMME FATALLE every girl dream to become! He self confidence and selfie is the main point about her. She sounds mean because she prioritizes herself and she is protecting herself since earlier years because her parents can’t parenthing. At the end I fell like she understands the value of people connection and friendship and she opens up more but she still the confident Queen B. I wish they made a movie just about her, I see her as a boss girl like Lucy Liu on Charlie Angels lab scene hahaha

BS! This is nothing more than propoganda flop for a series that should have stopped after the first movie. The Woke Culture bomb lambasted this former show into a diaster that not even the original characters could save let alone a serious plot: Carrie reverted back to being needy and immature - stalking Natasha and attempting to re-create dramas of yesterday isn't catchy for a 50-60 year old filthy rich widow. Her character would have been more believable had she just reverted to hanging out the clubs, getting high and shamelessly sleeping with anyone, anywhere and dressed from head to toe by WalMart. Miranda morphed into a frail submissive lesbian trailing behind the worst stereotyped character regarding the LGBTQ Community; left Steve and threw away her only pivot point in the entire series - her resilience and humor resembling those damned turkey leftovers no one wants or knows what to do with. Charlotte demanded "equality" while living the lavish lifestyle her attorney husband provided for her in the first place. Equality is to let him stay at home and have Charlotte work those 40+ hours at a law firm - let's see equality work on those merits. Instead, Charlotte morphed into Scary Sharrie (those lips) and represents the spoiled minority with too much time on their hands. Plots: None - just sidebars of minor situations that are temporarily addressed by woke culture spins or a reversion back to 3 grown ass women having problems a 25 year old woman could handle in 30 minutes or less. Male characters were stripped of their attributes to the show and made out to be accessories that someone would be ashamed to trade at a swap meet. Big got the best deal as he died in the beginning of the show; Aiden floundered around until he told Carrie, his kids are number one - wow! now that's a newsflash for you...Anderson Cooper! Steve just disappeared once Miranda decided to swim to ooga booga island to meet Che, the real man of her life - minus the obvious accessories...well maybe. Poor Harry; slaves his life away to afford Manhattan's lifestyle, but nothing screams appreciation like Charlotte telling him he doesn't even do 1/4th of the domestics that she was doing - did I miss something here? Oh yes - the nanny; maybe she died from Covid, but I'm certain that I remember Charlotte having help at home with those crumb-snatchers. Also, Charlotte didn't seem to "overworked" since her marriage to Harry or Tre - so in short, a useless storyline based on a nonexistent problem of the "rich and not so famous." The best character of the entire series was Samantha - smart enough to retain her character's symbolic stance alwhile keeping her distance from this stinker - you know it's bad when the highlight of the series is a 15 second clip of Sam..........and just like that.

I was raised by her generation and i have tl question my own thoughts daily as they have been formed by this era. So i understand her although i dont agree with the mentality

What's really interesting is that people who lived through that period of rock and roll view it completely differently than the recent generations that are placing judgement on it; to the point that it almost seems like gaslighting when you hear a younger person talking to anybody who grew up then.

I understand what people keep saying about Tom, but you can't overlook that Summer lead him on. And I don't like the whole diatribe against the "Nice Guy", as if there's no such thing as a nice guy. So are you saying that every "Nice Guy" should just die alone and a virgin.

I think it would be funnier if it was ever the other way round...like yeah, there's a lot of stories about manly men finding and falling in love with "masculine" (unfortunately not that butch) girls who share their interests in cars and fighting games but never stories about girly girls falling in love with girly boys who share their interests in fashion and make-up

Regina is a reflection of how she is raised to compete with others for everything in her life. That's not healthy. She treats her friends like shit because they are not friends, they are her enemies. The old saying, keep your friends close but your enemies closer. She's gotten to the top by stepping on people, but once at the top, she has to maintain that level constantly so there is no off day of thinking about what she really wants. It's about maintaining status all the time. That's constant stress. There is not one minute for herself. What Regina gets is that this is what life outside of high school can be like for her. It's about maintaining that 'perfect' image and holding onto the status that has been hard fought for. Sadly, she already has the wealth and connections through family to get what she needs to be successful. She's still a kid but acts like she's much older. She's been sexualized too young as well. I don't think writers actually understand the psychology of the 'mean' girl. I remember sitting in a Starbucks a few years ago and across from me were two women who had brought their daughters with them. The daughters had to be below the age of 11, possibly 9-10 range. I usually don't pay attention to other people, but it was the convo between the girls that struck me. They were talking about dieting and how they look. I listened to the vapid convo the moms were having about their daughters. This is how someone like Regina is raised.

What's the point of being a mean girl? Nothing, because no one likes you. The profit will be enormous if you are kind, helpful and empathetic. Think Melanie in Gone with the Wind. She ruled everything and everyone with a soft hand, pleasant voice and lack of hidden intentions. Yes, on the surface sometimes. She had a firm eye on everyone and could sometimes be strict but fair. How many can behave like that these days? People are so afraid of being taken advantage of if they are kind and helpful. But look how the world looks with Regina as a role model!
