Do you have to be an NP to do that? I am a Nurse too here in US, bago lang po and would like to transition to WFH as soon as possible. Sa job search, ano po ang exact job title to look for? Thank you.
@@kc5067 you don’t need to be an NP for a work from home position. There are nursing positions that are now remote or work from home. When you are looking for a job, filter them, and search for only remote or WFH positions. There may not be a lot, but there are.
@@cvimomoy I was talking about the HEALTHY life expectancy. The age when health starts to deteriorate. LIFE EXPECTANCY is the average period that a person may expect to live.
I become emotional whenever retirement comes to mind. I offer my heartfelt apologies to those who, after years of diligent work and saving for retirement, faced unexpected events that led to significant losses. This situation is especially harsh for retirees
Today, it’s easier to figure out how to improve your retirement savings. With inflation, you can use a professional portfolio manager to explore different markets passively. The impact of US dollar shifts on assets is complex
Even if finance isn't your strong suit, you can always bring in an expert. My $850,000 retirement fund took a nosedive in April, but I quickly called in a financial advisor. They crafted a smart plan to turn things around, and I’ve since pocketed over $250,000
There are a few standout experts in this field. I’ve tested out a handful over the years, but June Renae Matthysse has been my top pick for the last five years. Her performance is consistently impressive, and she’s a real name to know in the industry. Check her out
I found her contact information, emailed her, and arranged a call. Fingers crossed she responds. I plan to start next year with a solid financial footing
All I can say, and I'm saying it to myself every time I worry about my financial stability in the future, "people survive with less" as you've said. In short, nabubuhay nga yung iba na less than pa sa minimum ang kinikita at masaya pa, tayo pa kaya.
Hello ate Gi. I don't normally comment on posts here on YT pero I can't help making an exception to your video. First, I appreciate the transparency and honesty. Wala akong pagkukunwari or pretensions na naramdaman. Ang gaan ng pakiramdam ko while watching your video. Maganda din ang pagkakagawa and the narration is perfect. By the way, I am here in California and moved here 20 years ago via family petition. Nandito family namin including my 91 year-old mom. I am now 53 and works in the medical field like you. The reason why I am commenting is that pareho tayo ng goal to retire early and we have a lot of similarities especially in our values and how we look at life (your reasons 1-3, I fully agree 100%). I can say that we are a rare species here in the US kasi naman alam natin na bihira sa mga pinoy dito sa America to know that they already have enough and to prioritize living life to the fullest. Like you, I am now financially stable and no financial obligations. I was able to reach this stage despite traveling 3-4 times a year for the past 18 years kasi I lived below my means and lived a simple life. I prioritized saving money since I started here in the US. Dalawa lang kami ng asawa ko and our 3 cats. We are looking to move either to the Philippines or to a country in Europe (Spain or France) in 9 years or less. I have very flexible schedule naman sa trabaho kaya para na din akong semi-retired for the past 15 years. Anyways, kudos to you again! It feels so refreshing to find someone who looks at life in a similar way that I do. Ang galing mo! Subscribing to your channel right now :)
@noodleAdik Hello! First of all, thanks for taking the time to comment. It feels great connecting with someone who share the same outlook in life. I'm happy for you that your entire family is in the States na. That's the best. Truly, home is where our family is. My best to you on your retirement plans. Spain and France are both close to our hearts. We plan to stay there longer and immerse ourselves in their cultures when we retire. The Philippines, of course, will be our home base. Salamat sa panonood at sa pag subscribe!
Hope same to you Mam maka pag retired agad I am in Spain dito o kc 65 to 67 ang edad bago maka pag pensión 20 yrs working dito sa Spain but na isip ko na mag ipon na para sa sarili ko nakoha kona 2 anak ko dito na din sila may Bahay na din ako sa pinas kaso wla pang ipon po para mag retired gsto ko na sana mag retired kaso yon nga po wla pang ipon at wla pang negosyo May sss din ako sa pinas I love your story about life retirement hope maka pahinga din kaka work ma enjoy ko din 🙏
I love the soothing narration, wisdom & valuable information you shared. Most especially the shot of Foster City lagoon. My American dream now is to retire at 60 (as early as 55) to escape the high cost of living in the US, slow travel in Latin America & live a quiet simple life.
Baka mamaya vlogger Gi, pag gamutan at mga hospitalization. Balikan kayu ng US ha. Ilan lang yan mga sinasabi mo na retired na umuwi for good sa Pinas. Marami rin ang nabalik. Sa Una lang yuuun.
Magandang umaga po from Ilocos. Nakakatuwa po ang inyong mga videos, Ate Gi. Regardless of where we are retiring from, the motivation to spend quality time with family in our latter years is so encouraging po. Share ko lang din po, my parents are in their late 60's, and are about to spend their best years in my mom's hometown here in ilocos sur. 2 years ago, I started this dream project of building a retirement village for my parents and their friends (and relatives), and as I watch videos such as yours, my motivation gets fueld pa more 🤠 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on retiring early po, ate gi.
55y old retire na sa Pinas. Then you have 15y of good active life ahead. Those who stay in America are sad because either they have to work through 67 and have only 3 years of good active life ahead or they retire 55y old but has no money to enjoy the 15y active life ahead. Pag 75 come back to America na. So start with 70 then subtract your age and that is your active life ahead.
There's no place like home ... iba pa rin ang saya sa Pinas. I live permanently in other country for 9 years now, but I already acquired properties in the Philippines balak sana namin ibenta kaso we decided wag nalang because we are still considering retiring in the Philippines in the future ☺
Hello Ate Gi! I am also a RN here in USA- im at young age, pero iniisip ko na ung retirement ko haha. Thank you for the tips para sa retirement plans in the future!
I always believe that the best gift we can give our children is to save for retirement para hindi aasa ang mga magulang sa mga anak. But that doesn't always happen. Some people, due to poverty, or maybe due to them supporting other family members, or other reasons unknown to us, find it difficult to save and end up relying on their children. May God bless those supportive children and their families.
Iba pa rin sa atin, no? It's good that you are planning for retirement now. Save more, spend less (for now) to achieve your pan to retire in your 40's. Thanks for watching!
Thank you ate Gi , for the great and informative video… Can I ask you po , what work you do since you’re not at bedside anymore? I’m looking for options to leave bedside, super stressful.. thank you
Hello! I provide patient education for a specialized patient population. Many patient educator and case management jobs are now remote of work from home jobs. I know, stressful talaga ang bedside. Good luck! Thanks for watching!
I see you have for babies. What are your plans about your dogs? I am an animal rescue person and it’s heartbreaking that a lot to have passed on and left behind the furbabies, and the surviving relatives end up surrendering them to the shelter, which is really unfortunate. What are your plans about your pets?
@@official_ate_gi_channel thank you so much. I knew that but just wanted to ask thank you for sharing this video and 57 years old and planning to retire two more years This is helping us decide what to do

Hello! We stay in different towns in Bali, but our favorite place is in Ubud. It's a relaxing place, the center of arts. I think retirement makes many people anxious. So you're not alone. I get anxious about it too. But if we planned well and keep ourselves healthy, they say it should be ok. :-)
It would be more stressful if you retire early with no sufficient savings or pension. That's the reason why I could not retire yet. But I'm starting my countdown. 17 months more.
Thank you for all your contents Ma’am. 3months palang ako dito sa US pero I am planning na para sa pag uwi ko. Totoo yung “Life in the Philippines is Priceless”.
It's never too early to plan for retirement. Yung mga anak ko, as soon as they started working, I asked them to start their retirement accounts. Compound interest builds over the years. Sani nga ni Einstein, compound interest is the best invention ever made. :-)
There is no website for stock options. You need to inquire at a hospital near you if they are offering stock options, ask for the features and benefits and see if it meets your needs.
Hello Ate Gi, nakaka aliw po ang mga videos nyo. My husband I are in the same boat as you. Came here in 1999, now planning to go back to Pinas after 5 years, by the time our bunso finishes college. We have 3 kids. We are now in our mid 50s so we will be 60 when we go back. Thank you for your guiding videos. We love all of them.❤
