The obstacles that you skipped- I was there spring 2023, a dude in my group had a JK on 40’s with one ton axles- the ruts were so hogged out, had to winch through most of them anyway. Good trail, good video. Maybe I’ll see you out there on the trails.
This video just popped up on my feed and I’m glad it did!!! I’ve been living in PA for a little over 6 months. This is why I moved out of NY. Can’t wait to explore more of what this state has to offer. Thanks for the video!
I grew up riding snowmobiles, four wheelers and 4x4 trucks on all those roads in the national forest. Brings back a lot of memories of partying up there
At the top of Chataguay road there is a pond and small camping area. Your video showed it but there appear to be barriers at the top with a gate. I’m surprised to see that gated off. Was it done by the ATV folks or the forest service?
Yes it’s national forest for sure. Just surprised to see guardrails up there. Used to be a gate Fish n Game or forest service would randomly open and close. It’s basically an easier trail than the creek bed you fellas went up.
I love sproul st forest I just hate the law that pa passed a couple of years ago now you can only camp in designated spots and you have to pay when I first started going up to the forest you could camp where you wanted In any state forest now you can only do that in Allegheny national I wish there was someway we could start a petition against it and get it back the way it was they have to keep taking everything from us….great video I’ll be watching more
Amazing down there. I love it every time I visit. I hope they don’t improve Reddish Knob too much. I’ll miss the broken down graffiti lot if it gets all redone
Those are my home trails. I learned to drive at 13 years old in an 85 toyota puckup on them. We would go from reading to Plymouth, over to Bridgewater, and then to barnard. Before hurricane Irene you could drive a stock toyota through there

Good video, nice trail, love the action. 99% off roaders are afraid of success, they let off when momentum is working.. Never gets old to see. JLU setup needs worked on.. That JLU is way too heavy, lacks off road sway bars, and is super stiff in the rear. Which hinders articulation in the rear and greatly effects the front. The suspension is working against you. Tires lifting or without weight on them means no traction. And for heavens sake replace those steps with proper sliders, they're nothing but a hazard and reduce clearance. Proper tires would make a difference as well. That yellow cherokee is super interesting, bravo to him. The rest of the vehicles need help.
It takes more guts than I have to do this, props on the results! You did great creeping up on the final opening size, as we know, metal doesn't grow back. I learned that lesson in woodworking the hard way that wood doesn't grow back, either, Haha. Nice results.
It’s just a roll of door / window screen cut in half and shaped to the back. I used sticky magnets along the hard top / trunk edges and on the screen to connect it. Cheap little diy project.
Nice adventure and camp set up, it’s time for your friend to get a Bronco or a Jeep, even a stock Jeep could have made the awesome water crossing, still great video thanks
