GM has them setup as puddle lights, so they only come on at night with key fob unlock. You can wire them however want and can tie them to a blinker. I did that with mine. Before I got rid of them and the truck, I had switchback LEDs put in and the white led operate as a running light (always on when park lamp/running lights are on) then blink amber when turn signals were used.

Hey Phil, I've got everything in place, but my truck (2018 RCSB 2LT I05) already has a wire connected to the black port on the HMI inside the dash. Do I remove that and replace it with a stand alone wire to connect at the console or am I missing something inside the console/dash that's preexisting? Quick question i have a 14 silverado crew cab that came without fog lights i want to add it.there is no relay i have been told that i have to proghram the bcm for it is it so? And the hot wire for fog light were does it connect to fuse box to use stock fog light switch or do i nerd a extra harness and do you have yhose for order tia.

I have both heated and cooled seats what I dont have is comfort, the seats are hard as a rock I learned to buy the interior from the factory, cosmetic and exterior is easy to do aftermarket, interior is either a PITA, not possible or way too expensive

Also - I have a 2014 gmc Sierra - looking to replace my jumpseat- found a 2016 console on ebay and ebay is saying it won’t fit? I thought 2014-2018 were all interchangeable? Is there a reason it would not fit mine? Might need a harness.. thanks!!

@philgamboa2906 it's a 2015 2500hd high country. Power heated fold in mirrors with blinkers in them. But I'm looking to convert to tow mirrors. I don't necessarily need the power fold but I'd like all the other bells and whistles, would like to keep power fold if I can. And if I can have the puddle lights I'd like those too along with the rear facing lights.
I think GM's logic for drivers side seat power going to the passenger side fuse panel and vice versa, is to use less harnesses. IIRC, the drivers side panel is mostly for added options /RPOS that would require additional, non-base level harnesses and the passenger side is the primary one. So it's more likely you may have just the one drivers side connection on that right side harness and never anything on the drivers side fuse panel.

I do have a harness for it BUT it does require a compatible cluster, programmed for your truck and this feature. You'll need the HUD parts. Thank you for sharing this video. I do have a question, I have installed a light bar on my 2015 Z71 and the OEM light switch. I have wired the switch to the BCM but I’m guessing since they do not work my BCM needs to be programmed to recognize that the switch is plugged in? I have found trying to communicate with WAMS is frustrating it seems that they don’t want to deal with little projects like mine.
The video from Tinkering Fox on the ORL switch does disclose that some 2015 trucks will not have it's BCM programmed to enable that feature and think WAMS might be working on a solution to resume custom BCM programming. But don't know any more on that.

@@philgamboa2906 I set up followed the image on your website, however it did not work. The USB inside the center console does not work, I am assuming it has to do because I have the double USB at the front and I need to route that connection as an output to inside the center console.
@@JOSHUA2814484920 - What exactly is not working? Does your phone charge? Is carplay/android auto not working? Have you tried deleting your phone profile from the radio and the MyChevy connections in your phone? Try that, then re-sync.

Part #s are specific. If you install without programming, you'll trigger odometer tamper flags. This will eventually result in dashes "- - - - - -" on your miles in the odometer. Use www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com for the proper retrofit and programming.
