I've looked and can't find their nest anywhere. I been seeing and squishing almost invisible ones on the wall. Couldn't see with out flashlight. Also how would I dust around kitchen area?
I had BBs 8 years ago and sprays were not working well. I started using diamotaceous earth and maybe things improved. But then I found out about CIMEXA, applied it, and the bugs went totally away.
They have now made strides in trapping them using bedbug pheromones. All traces of the bites eventually disappeared leaving no scarring whatsoever. This is the guy that you put in your book by the way. Those are my results. I hope your book was a success. I have them in my driver's seat in my suv right now. I've been manually removing them when I find any. I'm hoping I can defeat the problem before it gets out of hand. Otherwise I'll be covering the drivers seat with painter's plastic. They infested a mattress before. This successfully starved them after about a year as they don't climb plastic very well.
I'm making this today ! One tip i thought of: to maybe secure the paper towel to the glass better would be using double sided tape, (instead of elastic band) between the pt and the glass, it would hold it snug and right up to the rim ! 🏅

Luke warm water w all so as not to Kill yeast. Give twice the room to grow,mix Active yeast package/1 TBSPN sugar 12 oz glass water Vigorously stir: sit 10 min to rehydrate yeast cells:Dump 2 cups into 2 quart water in container & mix: Dump first concentrated mix into larger mix: Fill most way of all main trap mixture bottles: run thin tubing from top screw tops to bottom center of shot glass sized direct trap. Wrap surface of these w item bugs can climb, like paper towel material. Bugs fall in, slide, unable to climb. Fine powder coated(like turmeric,talc) can assist. I RECOMMEND low light bulb/lamp close to floor for heat attraction w it. Lasts 2 weeks. I need notes 😊
Im very much a beginner, literally only a month of research. Currently only on day 3 of doing actual constructing, and this guy had some really good knowledge. Did a few models as a kid but ALWAYS had issues, flaws, complications, and questions. Been very interested the passed couple years to start again. Im a 10+ year recovering drug addict and after working all that time to restore my life I finally I have. It feels great to actually have time to do a hobby like this again since i was a child ignorant to the reality of the world. I feel like a kid again. Totally worth it. I took my time. Persistent to do things right and as best I could. Learned the basics and of all the things ive seen and researched, this guy and a few others of course are very intuitive, helpful, and creative as well. Love your tips, thanks Joel.
like the idea of the rubber band around the plastic bag over the bottle. what if you taped a few drinking straws vertically up and down the out side of the bottle, and then wrapped the rubber band around those as well. giving a place for the co2 to escape downward into the bowl.

Joel, just want to thank you for helping save people's sanity, BB's are an incursion on mental health as well as physical comfort, and your method helps people prove to landlords there's a problem, not to mention helping to keep these suckers off the humans and pets while the problem is being dealt with. I do this before I move my stuff into any new place now. Even do it when I overnight at a hotel or AirBNB, if inspection and preventative measures fail, at least you'll know before you leave if the place had an infestation, giving you better recourse. Saves a lot of money, heartache, discomfort and time, especially since typically renters have three days to report BB sightings before it's considered their problem not an ongoing issue. Little tip for you folks, use epoxy paste to seal tubing to cap and container to keep them from disconnecting. Also, y'all keep a lookout for the new device researchers have come up with to blast these buggers to h-e-doublehockeysticks. It's been a few years since you uploaded a video. So, I hope you see this comment. You are authentic. You post videos and show up as yourself. This quality expands into your entire being. People can sense your humanity. This natural quality you have--of openness, humanness, altruism--is felt by every person you interact with. Interaction via RU-vid or more importantly your day to day interactions. You are a very special man. You are living the example that Jesus, Gandhi, MLK, and others taught us. I hope that you're life is going well. And you feel valued by your contribution to each human you meet.
Those are very kind words, and humbly accepted. Sadly, unlike the social icons you referenced; unlike Malcolm X and Gandi I am not bulletproof to adverse criticism. I can't tell you how many times I was called a charlatan, a con man, and etc. When people were unable to construct effective traps. Mind you, I never charged a cent for my advice by parking my videos behind a paywall...yet I was still called every name on the book by sleep deprived victims too tired to construct viable traps. Eventually the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. I still consult and assist people of limited income in my current neighborhood here in SW Washington D.C., but I have abandoned YT comments largely because of the personal insults and attacks.
Thanks for your help. I had a problem with any kind of fermenting froth i used a old pack of yeast just to see, and nothing happen, then i bought some new packs and added extra sugar as it still didn't ferment even thow added more sugar. i tried new packs but no flrof. Do you have any suggesttion. it didn't draw any bed buds thanks
LOL, this reminded me of when we made balloon wine as kids. (Yes, it’s a thing… if you grew up poor, you know balloon wine, LOL.) Great tips here - need to try this, as something has been feasting on me at night, and I can’t find any bedbugs anywhere! Thank you!
They make a tool that is available and much safer to drill holes with. It's usually referred to as a drill bit. 1/4 inch drill bit is less expensive than the exact o knife and won't put someone in the er room.
Hahaha very funny😏. Apparently you don't know the desperation of abject poverty. This reveals your privilege. Imagine being a migrant agricultural worker in California. You came to this country with little more than what you had on your back. However the only housing accommodations available to you is in a series of unheated wooden shacks, crawling with bedbugs. Dwellings so poorly made that the entire shacks whistles when the wind blows hard between the wooden slats. No sir, this video isn't made for someone who has an electric drill and can hire an exterminator equipped with effective modern pesticides. Rather, this video was created for the average migrant worker, who although may be penniless, is always in possession of a sharp harvesting knife. I encourage you to take this opportunity to disengage on this at this time...
