I started Back to Blading in 2016 as a way to create content for people picking up skating again after being away for a while. I was documenting my skating journey on the RU-vid channel, reviewing the products I was buying, and eventually started a podcast with my friend Ben to talk about all things blading.
Back to Blading has always been about promoting skating; getting more people to skate, and keep them skating once they started. And it's working! Every week I get a message from someone saying that they're skating again because of Back to Blading.
Ps u shud make a real premium skate. Have that offered with all high end components. Ur skate here is superb but some may call it a pro model but offer a all high stuff with a price about 400$ to 500$ or more. They wud sell like hot cakes . I swear!! Intuition liner or a myfit, a real nice boot that isnt too specific but high end finish and nice accents and fine touches like a brushed finish and beautiful hardwear, the best of frames that most folks already love and pro USA made wheels in both anti rocker and flat. But offer a 200$ liner with all this stuff and i think ur skate wud be the flag ship model the iphone 14pro max of skates the diamond and gold level skate etc. i think the standard omni is a 14 K gold skate. but offer a platinum with diamonds skate and ull explode with purchases. It wudnt be easy but anything worth Alot never is!
Hello sir i hope u get this message!!! I just watched a 12 min video with u talking about u owning snd creating standard omni skates. Ive seen ur older videos and i had no idea your the guy who does standard!!!! I own 4 pairs of aggressive inline skates but not standard. Ive had my eyes on ur skates for awhile always wondering...ive heard of heel pinch and washers that weren't done correctly..but then ive heard of super awesome feedback too!! Firstly i LOVE THE LOOK OF UR SKATES!! and having watched many of ur videos and today i watched your standard company video well definitely going to buy a pair of your skates as soon as im ready to add my 5th pair of skates which will be in a couple or few months and im doing this cuz i really just want to support ur company. U seem like a real down to earth and genuine man. And u make a great great product!!! I just want to support ur vision anyway i can. I own a razors custom cult, a razors andrew broom pro skates, the Iqon AG10, and the gawds tim franken. I'll be ready to own a standard omni very soon. I wish u amazing success on your dream. If there is anything i can do to help hit me up. Im 45 yrs old very low income due to a disability now but i had some amazing careers in modern and hip hop dance and being a hairstylist, marketing director, and a clothing line at Neiman Marcus i designed. However when i became disabled i lost everything. My life got hard very hard. But i got back into skating a year ago. I skated from 97 to 2006. Now im back. And im working on a new dream myself!!! Be well good sir and ill be praying for u and ur company and years of innovation and joy and fulfilling success!! God bless u homie!!
Congrats on making your own skate !! I skated with a friend today who got them, he really like them. Also thanks for the viedos and skate testing. I like what you do for the community and have been following you. I also like the older blader approach you have. I have been rolling for 31 years nonstop, I`m 44 now. We have a small «older blader» crew who meet up and have fun.
USD AEONS soul plates are super sticky, in order to be able to even grind them decently you either have yo buy sliders or, wax them. thats a big thing to consider, also you didnt cover that in the vid
i would sugest maybe an 4 x 80 frame to freeskating. I know is not a 100mm but at list think would feel better. I do love the idea to skate to a spot with big wheels and just change the frame at the spot. Great video.
I returned to skating after some years and bought some Aeon basics , bs Royales were my go to trick and much like your video attempting bs Royales , I can no longer lock that back foot and sit on it, on ledges. Can do it coping , can’t on ledges and still haven’t figured out what I’m doing wrong.
