So what's next--no more meat on Fridays? I think any priest who would enforce veiling in church should also enforce the rule (still on the books) that men & boys and women & girls should sit on opposite sides of the church.
Also, a huge difference between the New Mass and the TLM is that anyone coming from the New Mass has been conditioned to believe that unless they are "participating orally" they are not doing what they "should be doing". In the TLM, the faithful are given the great gift of being able to have silent prayer that they offer to God through the priest during the mass, and the priest offers those prayers on the altar. It can be extemporaneous prayer, it can be the rosary, whatever! When the priest makes a body full circle and says "oratre fratres", it is kind of like he is taking all of our prayers, and placing them on the altar before he begins the offertory. It's a bit hard to get used to when you are trained to think that you're not participating unless you're talking, but it's the way the faithful prayed for 1,969 years give or take!
This is the first time I have ever seen your page and I was interested in your website, so I checked it out. I'm very impressed and I will share it with friends who I would like to introduce to the TLM. I'm not here to criticize, but, that being said, I think that spaghetti straps are inappropriate at any time. Same with mini dresses/skirts and things of that nature. We must remember that God is everywhere, and we must never offend him. Also men are "visually wired" and they have a hard enough time dealing with the fall of Adam and Eve, and all that that temptation brings. Let's make it easier for them! I have learned that around the same time, that millions of Protestants had left the Catholic Church, god had sent, our blessed mother; to convert millions of native Mexicans to Catholicism. I use to be skeptical about, the role Mary played in Christianity. That was until, I learned of this. There is so much history online regarding the Catholic Church, and why millions left but millions elsewhere in a pagan country were brought to Christianity. I believe god, had sent our blessed mother to convert millions and will continue on trying to reach us with Mary’s help.
We have one of the ugliest parishes I've ever seen, but we're also the poorest parish of the entire Diocese. We can barely raise the funds needed to replace broken a.c.'s & broken pipes flooding the parish hall. If one of us were to win the lottery, then perhaps we could finally build a big esthetically pleasing parish in the huge empty property we were donated like a decade or so ago.🤞 🙏

I watched it as I have a devotion to St. Padre Pio, but just wish they wouldn’t have shown that level of nudity. Granted that happened. But showing it the way they did was a bit of a pornographic part in a movie about a Catholic Saint. Those 2 things shouldn’t mix so nonchalantly. We have reports of this happening to Padre Pio so if they wanted to show that it could’ve been more tastefully done, shown less while still being implied. Just my opinion, but I know how we should guard our imagination and shouldn’t expose ourselves to images as they can be hard to get out of your head ! For anyone. so that’s just a warning, but overall, Shia LaBeouf did an amazing job and I am just thrilled for him that he has become Catholic and completely changed his life around. God is so good!

Hello, beloved! Once you are born again you are born into God's family. You are sealed in safety until the day of redemption. No man can pluck you out of the Father's hand. Confessing sin is done directly from the mouth of the sinner to God Himself. The only mediator is Jesus Christ. Once we believe fully in Jesus' finished work on the cross for our way to heaven, once we repent from the sin of unbelief in HE IS THE ONLY WAY, once we wholeheartedly trust JESUS ALONE (in prayer directly to God), we become born again. According to the scripture, the only unpardonable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One who draws all men to Christ. The Holy Spirit is the One who speaks to your heart about all the lies you've been convinced of and points you directly to JESUS and having a personal relationship with Him. God gives us the Bible, His living Word to guide us. Each of us is given the opportunity to read it and believe or just believe what some other sinner is telling us. Here's some of what GODS WORD says and please be assured, it is the Truth: Romans 10:8 But what saith it? A Christian is someone who holds and professes the Niceno-Constantinopolitan creed. It’s got nothing to do with being “born again”. That is just one step in becoming a Christian (ie being baptised). You have to actually believe in Christ and follow his teaching.
Now this is a huge step forward. Jesus did not affirm many he forgave and desired to have them follow him. He did not concentrate on the affirmations. He concentrated on the soul of the person whom his father, God had made and given the gift of life on earth. This is love. We do not live their life. We live our own. We have much to deal with ourselves, each one of us. It behooves us to accept people and their souls and forgive and forget with love like the Lord. How beautiful! That is all that is required of us. That is all. Nothing more. See how simple it is to love and truly care for others and their humanity and souls? Fear makes one recoil. Love makes one fly. I’m confused. You go to confession and are forgiven, you do your penance. But then that same sin will land you in purgatory? If it is forgiven and you do penance, why do you still need to be purged of said sin? I’m in OCIA and we haven’t covered this topic yet, but I have so many questions.
The Holy Spirit is not what you pray to though, the Holy Spirit resides within you, we aren’t even supposed to pray to Jesus, we pray to the father in the name of Jesus, but we also don’t pray to Mary or the saints, we pray with them

Why do catholics seems to worship Mary and other saints? I pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. The bible never tells me to pray to Moses or Abraham or even the angels like Michael or Gabriel so why does the Catholic church try call upon Mary with the "hail" Mary? I do not believe it is biblical to call to the dead so i do wonder why does the catholic church doew this. Or ive heard from catholics to pray to saint anthony when i lose something. Can you please inform me why this is? I am not judging, only the Lord can judge. I go to catholic church. But i refuse to call upon anyone but the Lord.. i hope to hear from you soon. @@Damian_HENRY I don't know what you mean by "where in the Bible does it says it's Bible alone?" but I will look further into the Hail Mary and perhaps it is biblical. But why the praying to saints? In a quick google search it says Catholics ask saints to pray to God on their behalf.. I don't see anywhere in scripture where I need to pray to good dead people to talk to God for me, I am pretty sure I can go to the Lord without calling upon dead people. Can you explain this part to me? And I am being genuine, I want to be Catholic but I struggle with some of their methods and ideas. Thank you in advance for any clarity.
@@blessedone8989 there are some good videos on RU-vid,, we don't pray to the saints we ask them to intercede for us,, they were holy people who are now with God so we ask them to pray for us,, that's a very simple explanation,, sorry for my english
@@Damian_HENRY That is okay I understand you for the most part. I still find it confusing though for a couple of reasons. If I ask my friend to pray for me, I have no problem with this. When I ask a deceased saint to pray for me I feel like I am treading dangerous grounds. When Saul tried to call out for Samuel after Samuel had passed away it didn't seem to go over so well. Also when I ask my friend to pray for me I don't think that my friend has any more direct connection to the Lord than I do, I just believe in the greater the number the greater the effect idea. I do not believe the pope, or deceased saints, or my pastor, or anyone for that matter has a more direct hotline to God than any of us do. Do you have any opinions on these matters? @@blessedone8989 book of Revelation shows the saints worshipping God, singing hymns, playing instruments, making requests to Christ to avenge their martyrdom, and offering prayers for the saints on earth (Rev. 4:10, 5:8, 6:9-11). Because they are alive, we believe that we can go to them to intercede for us with God
