Usually I don't respond on videos a lot, but in this case I had to ... So l I'm following.you for a while now and I believe I can judge you a little. I buy your argument trying to be authentic/not a hypocrat and I like this attitude. Most people these days aren't real or better said hypocrats. So you say things straight others might not like, totally ok for me, but saying you're the worst person "Tebo" ever met is quite a bit over the top in my opinion an tells a lot about Tebo if you ask me. And thanks by the way for educating us regarding the whole rc car setup/physics thing. Greatly appreciated. 🙏
Where do you get the washers for rebound damping and springs for 1/10? Specifically AE B6/B7. Because I searched MIP and they only have it for 1/8 I believe. So your challenge is going to be hard to do if you can't find the parts! Well unless I guess someone makes them themselves.
I think more tracks should consider providing a subscription model i.e. monthly/yearly passes for practice sessions, race entries etc. The subscription should be discounted to entice the purchase. Subscription models create a more predictable revenue stream for track owners. It get's drivers to want to go to the track more often. If drivers don't go to the track again the owner actually benefits. Subscription models are all over the place now because of it's many benefits. I think even a regional subscription model might be beneficial where track owners in a region agree to share the subscription. i.e. You can go to different tracks with your subscription, or at least get a discount at other tracks. With a more predictable revenue stream it might allow track owners to properly staff and have tracks open more often for practice. In addition I was thinking perhaps a track owners association or partnership might be good. Consolidation has it's downsides but it also has it's upsides. If we can get some sort of economy of scale for lack of a better term, higher attendance tracks could offset or help pay for lower attendance tracks. So on and so forth. But yeah it seems a common theme is lack of track access and nice, clean and safe facilities that attract patrons.
Awesome video. I just finished Building my new Kyosho Nitro Inferno MP10 TKI3 ! I've got the Alpha Falcon Engine with the Dragon Pipe! This one is pre Broken in. I haven't ran it yet! I'm waiting for my VP Lutz blend! But i did purchase a heat gun!
So I’m listening to this while driving and it’s very informative but am I correct in saying this? - you can adjust a C-Hub to drive exactly like a pivot ball, and vice versa.
No it isn’t. The wheel hex is what wants to move forward and the rest of the car wants to stand still. Take your car and look what happens if you start to move the hex forward.
@@invisiblespeedrc wait a minute.. I'm seeing anti dive as anti squat. Lifting up is squat. Diving down is Diving.. in the rear as you push up the arms.. tilted like a plane ✈ wing on take off.. the rear went down.. I thought that was squat.. but no .. that's dive?? 😮 oh... is that right?
Because it would be too big, and the engine would not run right. At idle the mixture would have to be too rich and all the fuel could not burn up, causing the engine to load up with fuel
Great video just gone from racing e buggy to nitro and know nothing about them tbh and don't want to rely on ppl at the track to sort my car out this maybe a silly question but when setting the idol gap with the gauges do you do it with the venturi in the carb or without?
No, no, no, no, no, no. You almost touched on it at 2:30 but No! The engine has 3.5cc's and it revs at 50,000 rpm so it sucks that amount of air. The size of the venturi doesn't change the amount pf air the engine draws, it only changes the speed of the air through the inlet - which in turn has effect on the tune - but not much. A smaller venturi makes the engine feel punchier but it's a feel thing. The truth is capacity x rpm = air consumption. Bernoulli is your friend here because physics can't be cheated. Don't believe the hype.
@@invisiblespeedrc i dont go to the track just bash got en old tmaxx and a Nitro sport got them dirt cheap. got about 3 gallons through them. kinda want to see if one can get a os carburetor to work through traxas motors be nice to have that 3rd adjustment needle
I bodged mine. Oh well it ran lean even thought the HS was all the way out so I richened the low speed but it ran up to 250/60 I'm worried I've done some damage 😢
Who actually makes thicker pistons these days? I’m not much of a fan anymore of the flapped dual rate pistons, would like to stay flat or conical and focus on thickness but it seems nobody is making them.
i have always been a fan of JQ, wears his thoughts and opinions on his chest, which i do too . as for Tebo, like the guy too until he talks, sounds like an uneducated guy who is trying to make a financial life because he never gained a skill in his adult life and found out that there is not a lot out there for someone in RC for so long
I am running the MBX8R Eco, Nitro and MBX8TR I just put 15/5/6 on my e buggy, 2.5 rear sway (2.2 front), 4 dot rear plates (highest), raised the link on the rear tower to the top … gonna take it for a spin later today. 🤝🏽 I’ll report back. Gonna try it at both The Dirt and Thunder Alley here in So Cal.
You mentioned higher roll center causes the car to traction roll on smooth surfaces. On carpet what I find seems to be the opposite. If I remove shims from the front and/or rear inner ball stud mount, which raises the roll center, I notice the car rolls less and does not want to traction roll as easily. Unless I am misunderstanding what you said or other parts of my setup just work with the higher roll center Idk…
High roll center (low links on inside) does make the car want to roll up and flip over. It depends on where they are to begin with, and the rest of your setup, but physics is physics. That doesn’t change.
sorry to interupt. I already buy the book but the book ship to wrong address. Can u help to correct the UPS, thx. (1ZR801470492496079 should be to Macau instead of Mainland China. Need ur side to correct this, other wise I cannot change the destination.)
FYI The Glow plug does not stay lit the glow plug helps ignite the fuel when the engine is cold when you release the Igniter the glow plug shuts off and the engine continues to fire under its own compression.
So you expect us to pay… then you’ll produce a product? That’s the mentality of a onlyfans stripper bud. If you make a good product that’s needed. It will sell
Great message, it’s taken me as long to learn the same. Sometimes I just accept people where they are at, because confronting their thinking won’t really be of service to them-they aren’t ready to receive it. I can accept their perception and still know the truth without needing to say it.
