It's crazy how I see pretty much everyone in the Undertale fandom calling Chara evil, but this is the only theory I found with evidence as to how and why
This video is literally how humans work. They start game and procced to kill EVERYONE, over and over until they succed, and after this they make a video "why this is justified".
i strongly believe it's undyne. mettaton specifically says he doesnt care about killing humans and is just playing along with alphys. gaster is also really far fetched and silly. undyne has a nice smile and you literally see her fade into the shadows.
undyne didnt have to go to hotland to meet muffet. muffet maybe went to waterfall for some reason. also undyne probably told muffet to stop you just in case you escape because undyne doesnt know you eventually make friends with her.

My person headcanon. Chara is very impressionable, and as we all know hates humans. But I wouldn’t say they’re evil, just that when you see all your friends and family get violently murdered by a person you are physically stuck with. You will go insane, and when you manage to get insane enough along with the power and violence going into your body you will end up becoming evil and wanting to destroy everything just like -frisk- the player did. Just the only thing left being reality. But hey, actions have consequences. So Chara is evil due to your actions.
6:45 Although UT no doubt is a future setting, I find the tech theory to be a bit of a stretch, many sciences are scattered across numerous feilds, Monsters however are set with a more immediate and in their face goal of escaping, so it would also be likely all technological efforts were set to puzzle building and finding a (literally) soulless way to exit the underground, and the game doesn't hint even the slightest to mosters succumbing to illness besides determination overdose, so medicinal studies we humans have to divert time, funding and energy to are pointless to them, space and oceans are quite literally inaccessible to them, and most convenience technologies are salvaged from surface scrap.
I have a theory that the human with the burnt pan and the apron died with the apron in so it got stained by the blood and the pan was left on the stove and got burnt. Also I think that mettaton hid the items away after he killed the human.
sans waits until you kill everyone that you can until him and then only the he uses "justice" to fight you. Sans is most Patience character in undertale. But undying has the justice (and determination)
my headcanons/ocs!!! (warning for abuse, and suicide) this is in the order they fell in my version patience: neutral, leaning merciful patience was a 10 year old girl. she climbed the mountain after a very bad argument with her neglectful parents, which made her scared to go home. the ribbon fell off while in the ruins, and they got rid of the toy knife. they did not trust toriel very much, so she left the ruins after only a small amount of time there. she did not make it far in snowdin before being captured by a few monsters and taken to a small shack. the monsters left her there for a few days until she died of thirst. until thy end, she thought she would be saved, and she almost was. perseverance: no-mercy perseverance was a young kid at 11 years old. they fell because their best friend, patience, had disappeared a few days prior. they discovered Clara's knife in the ruins which was left there in honor of them. after finding patience and the monsters who captured her, perseverance attacked them with the knife. they became addicted to the rush from this, but felt slightly guilty. everything was too much, so they drowned themself in waterfall. kindness: pacifist kindness was a teenager at 16. he had a sister who was barely surviving in the hospital. after hearing she was not going to live much longer, he decided to climb the mountain in honor of her, as it was the two's passion when they were younger. after convincing toriel to let them go, they met a monster around his age. the two went through the journey together, before the monster pushed the boy into the lava. integrity: pacifist, hurt monsters without killing them integrity was a teenage girl at 15 years old. her parents didn't accept anything about her, from her dream of ballet ("you won't get anywhere with that!) to her being trans ("you're not a girl!"). this led to her wanting freedom in any way she could, even death. she snuck out of the ruins, and made several friends in snowdin. a group of monsters formed a beta royal guard. while a few of her friends tried to protect her, the monsters ended up killing the girl in snowdin and leaving her items in waterfall justice: pacifist AND bravery: neutral justice was a 14 year old boy. he fell after disposing of the gun after an attempt of violence he recklessly ran into to stop it. he stayed with toriel for 2 weeks, the longest of the kids. in those two weeks, another boy fell. bravery was a 13 year old boy. he climbed to find justice, his coach's missing son. the two of them got toriel to let them out and they did not kill any monsters in snowdin. however, in waterfall, justice died while protecting bravery from an attack. this led to bravery killing any monster showing a hint of violence. when he got to asgore, he killed bravery with the light blue attacks
My theory is chara is evil because chara is actually a demon possessing frisk due to the fact that suicide is a sin in Christianity and she went to hell after ending her life
You know what, the comment about Frisk gave me an AU idea. Of course the monsters wouldn't consider a human in the succession line, but Frisk could take over the throne by force, conquering the monsters instead of killing them all or leaving after the Omega Flowey fight. Anyone standing in opposition would be eliminated. Frisk can gain experience with save powers, rewinding time after any mistake.
do they attack the soul or the body because if they attacking the body why the soul breaks should it not be grip or put in the box saying rest well as they get ready for war?
