This channel will be all about traveling to new destinations with some fun facts and maybe even great adventures. New videos weekly..I hope :)
The goal is to be able to show countries and shine them in a different perspective. We all know certain countries that are always in the news because of something negative. I do hope to be able to make content to show how they really are and how people live their lives in these countries.
My intent is to help people, not only there but also the viewers through either entertainment or knowledge to grant a different view.
Firstly Czechia was never part of a soviet union and secondly there is nothing wrong about these apartments(buildings) building like that are found in every major city in Europe no matter if its in eastern, central, western.. this is just silly video
The czech government painted these buildings after the communist break away to make it all less depressing. Although they don't look the best, inside it is much better and doesn't look that ugly.
It depends on what you're looking for in a city. Not everyone wants to engage in "sightseeing", and some people visit cities and towns to go to the cafes, restaurtants, sit in parks and go on scenic walks. Having fewer tourists there is a BIG plus to me.
I like your perspective. People who can't look past the obvious and easy tourist cities like Prague, Budapest, Krakow, etc...are really missing out. Destinations that are a bit less travelled, and that require a bit more effort, can be considerably more rewarding.
John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
I left Prague in 1995. Ice cream used to be 1-2 crowns. Sandwich 2-7 crowns. Beer was 1.6 crown.$10 was 400 crowns. It means - for $10 I could have 200-400 ice creams.
wow, you should really do a bit of reading on brutalism, Le Corbusier etc. There is nothing Soviet about the architecture, except when and where it was built.
Yeah, But Budapest is huge... Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) doest not even have 50k inhabitants... Its just basically a town :) and even festival that is held there every summer is visited by many film stars... DiCaprio, De Vito, De Niro, Dafoe, Reno and so many more...
Please get the facts right before you explain what is what... Slovakia has never been a part of the USSR. The first large building you encountered in the previous video is not a government building, it's the presidential palace. There's more. I appreciate your intentions are good and the videos are nice just please do a bit more research before you travel or do not make assumptions when you explain what is what in your videos. Cheers.
This is not a Soviet monument, this is a monument to fallen Soviet soldiers. It was designed, built and financed by the Czechoslovaks, not the Soviets.
Vienna is from Bratislava 50 km - 31 mile, So is Vienna eastern Europe too ? :-), BTW, Yes, Slovakia is a vey safe country, therefore you do not see the guards around, they are just not needed. Many Slovakian people do not realize this, because it is in our nature to feel safe here, and make it safe here.
Nice video, all 5 of them. I'm afraid that you visited it in a wrong time of the year, and also covid made it even more empty. If you are wondering about the palace you saw, it's the Presidential Palace, the president has her offices there, but doesn't live there. Slovak presidents usually keep living in their own houses, even outside of Bratislava. There are usually guards in front of the palace, maybe the president was not there at the time, no idea. As we say, when visiting Slovakia, it's a mistake to visit only the capital, because the beautiful places are scattered all over the country. Greetings!
@@brivvr May is probably the best. Sunny, warm but not completely hot, most of the places that are closed in winter (some castles, etc) are already open. Caves are open only in June - August though. September may be good too, it's not hot and the summer vacation is over.
There are more mistakes you made in your commentary. E.g. Bratislava castle IS a MUSEUM. National Museum has its exhibitions inside and opened to public.
Nice series of videos from Bratislava... I liked it. You showed some ups and downs of our capital city. But I recommend you to get back here in summer when here is a lot of tourists, people are sitting on terraces, drinking beer and are happy and you can see the city life. :) There is a lot places to visit in Bratislava but you were there after the end of summer season and during the pandemics. Yeah sadly there are many nice places closed now because of that. And about your conclusion: I am happy that you've said that. Because I love Bratislava because it is not as crowded like other BIG europeaen capitals. And yeah... they are overcrowded. So the less people you recommend to visit Bratislava the better. And don't get disgusted by some comments from homies here because there are many people in Slovakia that sucks... just ignore them. :D
The city and the whole country is suffering from pandemia limitations... that is why there are not as much tourists. Before year 2020 Bratisalva was quite atractive for tourists... not as mucha as Prague, but I think that this is what people like on this city that is it not so crowded. BTW. do you always choose the longer path? :DDD
