The player models that are out of bounds, are probably there for a smoother experience for the player, a common trick used in game development is spawning every enemy into the world when the world is being loaded, and then teleporting them to where they need to be at the time they need to be there.
My own theory is if Mr Blue Eyes and the AIs behind him wants to destroy humanity, they can. But humanity is merely like a bunch of insects, they are trivial to the AIs. Blackwall doesn't protect humanity from the internet, but put humanity in small terrarium while the vast world belongs to AIs that have enough of humans-- because everytime humans get close to them, humans do so trying to control the AIs. I think, they want So Mi and cynosure cause they want to stop these two techs that allow humans to enslave AIs (again). I expect that So Mi as a container that knows nothing on how the tech actually works may be sparred of death-- just because I think the AIs don't lie. Instead, people under Myers that created the blackwall breaching tech and Myers herself would be the target of these covert AIs.
Bloodhound Knights are Demi-Humans. The text about Floh saying all that jazz about finding his own lord is a mirror of how Boc makes a huge deal about having been able to choose you as his lord. And Boc has the ability of speech, which gives purpose to why the text specifies that the absence of speech is the basis for Floh's plight. Edit: Oh my god... and completing Boc's quest has the tragic consequence of robbing him of his voice... the very thing that allowed him to choose to call you lord... the very thing without which he never would have been able to get our attention when he was a tree... I never realized how many layers of tragedy specifically to Boc losing his voice. 😢 Come to think of it, the voice of Boc's mother is mentioned, too, making voice and Boc very strongly associated. So, yeah.... Bloodhound Knights are Demi-Humans. lol
The inside of the Experimentation map may be a leftover of cut content from the game, perhaps very early on. Experimentation may have been the first map to be made, and so originally probably could've had this cut layout, but then something happened during development, and pre-made map was abandoned in favour of proceduraly generated facilities. Just a possible explanation for this.
To clarify, Content Warning and Crush House were not *created* by Landfall and Devolver respectively, they were *published* by those companies, as in funded, promoted, etc... by those companies, but not actually developed.
Rache Bartmoss once transferred a guy's mind into a cat because he could. He's out there on the NET somewhere. If he's dead for good, then I'm Saburo Arasaka
I once got a single cookie pan on eclipsed embrion. It’s not much but I’m fucking PROUD of what I got. And yet my friend who stayed on the ship still got called “most profitable”
I know i'm 9 months late. But i love your lore videos! I just discovered them today Im ashamed say i'm not a big book guy and have no one to play the tabletop games with, so this was all neat to listen to I had watched two videos back to back. Cyberpunk definitely has so many more stories to tell and to be told from anime/comics to games and future tabletop games.
Soo, I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're talking about, but I did get a line from Hermes about the timer recently! No footage, sadly, but basically he tells Zagreus not to worry about the time because it stops during their conversations, and that he was the one to ask for that to happen (not to be confused with the line where he just calls out that the timer is on, that's a different interaction)! It wasn't tied to the pact though, just regular gameplay with the timer on, as i haven't beaten in Hades in this save file yet. Either way, great video! I wasn't aware of a lot of these details.
i feel like we get a fee when one of our team dies simply because everything we wear cost money to make, and since the company no longer pays us employees they might as well get something out of it
Its weird for lily an ancient descendant to use word pals as it was coined by the outsider... I dont think the ancient use the word pals to refer to the creatures...
Very awesome video, you got my sub! It was very funny listening to this video crossing off all the monsters I've encountered myself (I haven't all that much and there are many I haven't seen in-game) and being suuuuper confused about not hearing about arms (1:32:36) until TIER 6, since it was seemingly a really unthreatening encounter when i found it, but your explanation on why its so low makes sense lmao.
i like your theory about the fates but to me is more about chaos, multiple times it's said that the fates are his creations too, and she/he's experimenting a lot and even his change of appareance for me it hints that she/he is going to have a role in the oncoming religions, her newer attired and wing like abominations signifies change for me.for that thing almost everything is an experiment and you'll never know when it will get bore of the greek gods. and don't forget what eris says that the world was staggered the way it was before chronos appereade again.
I found that when I blew up almost everyone on my team with the button robot (we call it the button dog because it looks a bit like the one from Boston dynamics) we couldn’t hear each other until we went back to utopia. Also my friend says that screaming at the top of your lungs scares the kill streamer away which makes sense because people can get scared of sound. I do think that sound has a lot to do with the game.
Golden planet - Aug ??, 1968 could have been on aug 28 29 or 30 because Swing of things log was on Aug 27, 1968 and after golden planet theres Shady - Aug 31, 1968 its on aug 31 so the golden planet log had to of been on aug 28 aug 29 or aug 30
I love the idea of Zagreus being the God of Blood because that refers to blood as a source of life and what flows through mortals, connecting him to his god of death father and mortal heritage from his mother with his red blood, and the connections formed between family aka blood
If I remember right, the difference between Erebus in Hades 1 and 2 is because it was originally the waiting room for shades to be seen and judged, but because Chronos took over, Shades no longer are being judged and basically are left behind, so the entire place has fallen into ruins and overgrowth.
Where do you get Game Chronos being father to Nyx from??? Both Hades 1 and Hades 2 are VERY explicit about Nyx’ one and only parent being Chaos, it’s brought up in dialogue on a handful of occasions iirc
yup, was trying to find a comment saying this dude missed some stuff, not to discredit the effort put into the video, but yeah he mustve forgotten or misremembered
Im going to say that these robots were war machines. The reason they get left out is because 1. You know once war is over many things are left behind, from soldiers to machines 2. Maintaining those machines AI became dangerous when they went haywire and attack anything that moves
Rache sounds more like a villain than an anti hero. He went around fragging people for no reason because it was fun to him. Then when karma catches up he has a hissy fit and crashes the net. The more i learn about any of the characters the less i like them and think they deserve the hellish situation they put themselves in. In the next game if it is about humanity vs AI I'm siding with the robots.
