I believe that all car manufacturers turned very nasty in recent decades to rip off more and more customers on maintenance, service and repair without mercy, and BMW is not different.
Therefore, I am sharing my experience in repair, service and maintenance with other people and learn from others to keep the cost of running my car as low as I can without getting tied to dealerships and mechanics. Although I am not a professional by any means, I use Bmw's Ista+ software as my reference and guidance to carry out any work on my car. Those who are familiar with Ista+ software can see this in my videos.
I also believe that there is so much knowledge and experience on RU-vid platform if you manage to find the right people and channels. It's a perfect place to find answers for anything I need regarding BMWs. I appreciate to everyone who shares their knowledge here and I will keep sharing my knowledge and experience to help others to solve their problems.

Hi my friend, It seems your old battery still in Good condion, if I were you, i would charge it before change that. I had a BMW F30 2012, but untill now it still working prefect, I charge that when that voltage lower, after charge that voltage will be 12.89v, I brought a VARTA G14 to prepire replace that, after 3 year new batter came to my home, the old one still working prefect. so don't throught way your old one, try charge that. hope that useful for you.
Nice job! What was your source for the resistor values? I'm planning to do this, but I would prefer 13.6 V, rather than 14.4 V, which is for charging, not coding or programming. Once the battery is charged, the voltage should be maintained at 13.6 V. I'm interested to know if the source you used mentioned the resistor values for 13.6 V. Thanks.

If you aren't supposed to have a cable going through the window and the doors are supposed to be closed, does that mean your laptop has to be inside the car? You said the current from your power supply was between 25 and 29 A. Was the battery fully charged before you started the process? That seems to be rather high current if the battery wasn't charging. I have an F87 and when the battery is charged, turning on many accessories, the power rarely exceeds 20 A. When you programmed the second time, did it reprogram all of the modules over again or only the ones that didn't program properly the first time? I'm guessing it did everything again, based on the time. What were the 2 fault codes at the end? Thanks again.

I'm going to make a short circuit DC Voltage/Ammeter Connections Can I use it like this? Red switch? Nozzle? The same parts are connected I'm curious about the purpose of the part. Can I make it without the part being installed?

Hey, great video, I have a question if you have time to reply. Do I need to do the ISTA part on BMW N47 520D from 2008? On ISTA it said - "Bleed the fuel system. Turn on ignition for approx. 1 minute (venting takes place automatically)" And after that it said - "On NG engines vent fuel system via BMW diagnosis system". So I am not sure, should I do the ISTA part or I should not? And the 2nd question would be - Do I only have to have ISTA+ to do so, or I need ISTA P also? Do I have this option on 2008 520D N47? Hello, is there any downside in driving the car without following a proper coolant bleeding procedure and just topping up the coolant when the level in the reservoir goes down due to natural causes. In other terms is bad to just let the engine to operate at normal condition, i.e. traffic driving, and allowing it to bleed by itself? I ask because I don't think that revving the engine when the car stationary (no-load) for more than a few minutes is good for the engine. Thank you for your reply!
You took out a metal catch can to install a plastic one? That is sitting right above the exhaust/turbo and will get a lot of radiating heat. That's a bit risky

Hi there. Thank you so much. I've got 2015 model 320. It was standing for quite a while. Replaced the battery this morning. But now there is two questions. Question one, Where do you put the small gas pipe? And second question, I've got a small little black wire now hanging which I don't know where it is suppose to go. Maybe you know? It's very small. Car still doesn't want to start. Haven't done the "Trip" register method yet. Car is cranking and wants to start but just doesn't want to turn over. Is it perhaps that small little black wire?

I-Level of my f36 2018 is still on factory level. Since a few days my Headunit (HU-H) is restarting about every 5 minutes. I am kinda afraid of updating the I-Level. Can an update cause any aftereffects? Is it really a software issue after 6 years? My dealer offers the update for about 150€...
How can you flash most modules on e séries with this device? You will still need icom to flash cic or ccc modules, that is the negative of this device.
