I find most Chinese stuff to be fine nowadays, it was the early days of Chinese manufacturing that was bad. A bit like when the Japanese started making bikes and then a few years later they were better than anything else .
got 20 years motorbike experience I've had a good few near misses and scrapes as well I've always remembered what my trainer told me its no such thing as a late biker doesnt matter how pushed for time you are you always get there safely not quickly speed kills so a 125 is plenty if you live in a city and a town your never going to go any faster than 60 unless you jump on a highway or in the uk a motorway then you will need something slightly more beefy but a 125 is plenty for a normal day to day life going back and forth to work or having a weekend spin. and dont pay attention to people who point and laugh because you have a 125 them people dont have a clue real bikers respect each other no matter what they are riding. I got by on a little moped for years served me well it was cheap to run as well i didnt care what people thought either.
The point people make about price is justified by the vmotto Sacco stash, hopefully you will review it, at a price of £6.5k makes it desirable with is abs and traction as standard, I find the Sacco range great value for money but you can’t just pop into your local dealer and kick the tyres, hopefully English Electric Motor Co have got one to try👌
My cbt is next Saturday, past couple weeks have been nerve racking but after watching your videos the butterflies in my stomach have been less. Thanks man.
@@spicy110 You did a great review and the bike looks fantastic but just a bit on the expensive side . I’m currently looking at a Maeving ,have you done a review on that one ? Regards Dave
Can I just point out a rider who had a cbt at 16 may want to do the A1 before they turn 18 if going onto bigger bikes in future as they will not have to be restricted to the l plates on a 125 for the same cost. Also means they will not have to renew a theory test
You can indeed but that is not what this video is about. This video is about people saying getting to a A2 or A costs £3k-£4k for the basic route, which is untrue.
Yes, there have been many studies and papers proving it not only reduces accidents but also deaths. We have more people in the UK than ever before and a lot more cars and much worse roads yet fatalities and injuries fell when they changed the rules. Here is one of many www.gov.uk/government/statistics/reported-road-casualties-great-britain-motorcyclist-factsheet-2022/reported-road-casualties-great-britain-motorcyclist-factsheet-2022
I recently Failed me cbt The only thing I couldn't do was the figure 8 in mod c and the instructor let me off the session because they were "behind on time" bare in mind this was only 3 hours into the course, fair enough my balance is shit but when you don't re teach it not helpful :') Will take any tips on board as well as questions and scrutineering
Unfortunately the insurers act accordingly. It is kind of rip off in the uk and it seems there is no power upon their high premiums. If you ride a new Superbike chance of buying a policy is almost zero and impossible or it will be over £5k a year regardless of your NCD. So disappointing.
Going Through a claim a driver made against me! He swerved towards me ( probably because he had the ump) whilst I was filtering, he misjudged it and side swiped into me damaging his wing mirror and door (nothing to my bike as I have engine bars.) he knocked me into the car on my left which helped keep me upright. This is still an open case at the minute as it happened in July but my renewal quotes have been affected as they all see it as a fault claim until it is resolved. He claims I was on the wrong side of the road by the way, which is Bollocks needless to say. Just saying, no matter how careful you are filtering some other Twt can cost you.
Someone should have gone further up towards that corner to warn oncoming traffic earlier, but good on you for helping. Can’t believe you found a dry day to ride here.
I'm riding for 6 years consecutive, and I'm doing this every time it's safe, I've donebit many times with a police car in trafic oan at least 2 times with bike police behind me. U know what's funny? I see so many riders they blocked when they see a police car and they join the trafic jam. Yes it is filtering.
No , you're doing it all wrong- the other channels all show you need to be doing at least 100km p/h so the other drivers don't see you and get scared, admittedly most end up in hospital but they can't all be wrong😁. Good job
I have a waste oil burning stove I made a few years ago but find it difficult to gravity feed the right amount of waste oil into it,so bought a peristaltic pump to use but it runs a bit fast and puts to much oil imto stove ,Ive tried to run the pump on a plug in timer (on for a min/off for a min) but still not ideal.Im wonderimg could I use one of your speed controllers ro turn down the volts which in turn might turn down the speed of the pump🤔might be worth a go👍
I have one with a blue tank. Once had a visitor for my mom that asked me what bike I had so I told her. She had the same one, same color. Only difference was that hers had a longer fender and different exhaust. It's crazy, because you abrely ever see GSRs.
@@madmerlin5 Never said it was a percentage of the voltage, I said it was a percentage of the input. So a 50% duty cycle would be all of the input voltage but only for 50% of the time resulting in half of the potential. Either way my point still stands, with a motor controller if you increase the input voltage you increase output voltage as well. With a buck converter the output voltage is constant and independent of input voltage.
@@ATOM314159 great idea!! Most elegant for motor control would be a buck, and then a pwm! If you lower the voltage on a standard motor current goes up, resulting in more heat. Pwm gives lots of little pushes at full potential, resulting in less heat, less rpm, but way more torque at less rpm, cause the little pwm "push" is at full potential, only turned on and off real quick!
Bikes scooter and trikes all have there neich market at least you did ride a scotter and gave a just review may be you should now try a trike like the piaggio mp3 and see the fed back
@@RacingAnt If anything it proves my point lol... In it Spicy says that he's not surprised how RJD gets content because of how stupid everyone is. This isn't a smack on Spicy, it's a smack on how idiotic people are in London and filtering/riding round London is a very different game to filtering on main roads. Surly you get that?
I've seen plenty of car drivers being pissed off at us for filtering. But I have also seen car drivers filter or rather skip traffic. Hypocrisy at it's finest
When I saw the fans attached to the pipe I thought you were using it as some kind of weird DIY blower, like for electronics cleaning, drying off crevices in your bike, or something like that. I really wasn't expecting the outcome 😂
Good stuff man! Sparky here , dont tin the wires that go into the blue crimp connectors, it will actually mess up the ability for it to make a good contact! No problem in this kind of application but i HAVE seen fires started this way in higher power applications. Good practice to prevent many fvck ups is to always always double check the color of the wires itself ! (Dont ask xD ) Keep up the good work! Now im gonna make one of those boxes myself xD just a great thing to have instead of always dragging around a 10 kg power supply xD
@@darronjknight nah, dont do that, because after time, where the solder ends, is where the wire Will break. Best long term crimp is bare wire properly crimped. Look it up on youtube, properly crimped wire practically turns to "solid" copper at the point of the actual crimp. For extra longevity, you could use the self glue-ing shrink tube over the crimoed part and the first 10 cm or so of the wire
@@darronjknight of course there is always that one exception yada yada yada xD i used to do this to all my crimps actually but it's just bad practice, except for some exceptional use cases 😎
