Bro ur actually a legend but how do i unbind the 2+3 so it doesnt give me the heat burst? do uknow? or do i just gotta deal with the fact that if i dont hit the timing i activate my heat? hahah
I went from Rookie to Gold 5 in less than a month using this guide. I love how straight to the point this is and it actually helped with my understanding of the game and Cammy. I'm still new and learning, but having achieved such a rank + the learning experience has been fun! I'm so thankful of this and do keep up with other characters as well!
I didn't play that much SF6 in the first year (for a few life reasons). I started playing ranked again 2.5 weeks ago. Forgot about the changes and just learned "on the fly." I personally don't think she's that much worse. I regret not abusing her in season 1, but in some ways I think she is more fun to play. The standing MP change has been a damn workhorse for me. We need an update on your thoughts soon. She might be worse comparted to season 1 of course, but I think they just basically made it so you have to have good footsies. I don't really want to play anyone else at the moment. I'm honestly waiting for viper, so I might be waiting forever...
Thank you for this vid i learned that i have to be more patient and just not mashing every button on my pad. As a beginner with sf6 as my first fighting game its hard but i’ll get it there eventually bc the game is just so fun!
hello! just wanted to thank you for this VERY educational video. you make it look sooo easy and it is very apparent that you know exactly what you are talking about. still using modern so i am not sure if EVERYTHING applies but i intend to switch to classic once i get the hang of the game grüße aus wien ;)
After watching this guide I made gold with Cammy and Garyu with Xioayu, which isn't even the same game! (I"d love to see a guide like this for Tekken btw!)
It's important to remember you're fighting a human, not a robot. If you notice they have a combo string they don't have the timing down for, this becomes an increasingly useful option, especially since it can cause the opponent to tilt due to you winning an interaction they don't feel you have the right to have won. There's only a handful of people good enough to nail combos every time, don't trick yourself into believing your opponent's offense is air-tight.
ok, I am cannot comprehend how your dp is connecting after the OD tatsu, I can normally do the OD tatsu to Ldp, but this combo seems to not work, is there a specific timing window to use OD tastu to give you the timing for the dp to not whiff?
Hey man, I wanted to thank you for this cool guide. I watched it 2 times and honestly I’m impressed of your hard work you’ve put in. Despite of me spending 40 hours and I’m still failing miserably to crawl out of iron, I’m glad this works for the rest of you guys. I ended up deleting the game, though I think I’ll give it a try later on. Cheers
All the people pointing out that abare means "To go wild/crazy" and saying that it's the same thing as the term "Mashing"... Is it though? Mashing refers to hitting buttons repeatedly and rapidly, as if you're mashing potatoes or such. It's commonly used to refer to people who are playing around with the game's controls and trying to figure out what does what. Is that also a wild/crazy way to play? Well, yes, but saying "abare" seems less specific then "mashing" does, and the player in the corner is literally not mashing buttons here, they're taking a risk in timing an attack to free themselves from corner pressure. If they did literally mash they would probably just wind up getting blendered by moves.
Its still mashing even if you use another word to define the same thing. Its like when people say that japanese comics are not comics they are "manga" or korean "manga" are "manhwa" or when voice actors in japan are not voice actors they are "seiyuus" That's just comes off as pretentious, terms that snobs use, if they mash a button or press a button on hitstun or blockstun its called mashing even if they are not literally pressing the button like crazy which is basically what abare is You are just trying to make it look more complicated than it really is by throwing frame data numbers at people and calling it with "fancy" names
