I dunno how well people are generally able to react to a fast spike, but for me, I try to focus on the direction the ball starts moving when it leaves their band and trust my arms to be there in time. Otherwise, I just spend too much time thinking and end up late.

So it is physically possible for a special type of woman out there to be able to dunk at 5’7”. But keep in mind Mireya has some elite genetics and has grinded her whole life, and to put this lightly, her being of african descent makes her more genetically inclined to be able to reach freakish verticals. Like any good jumper, she had short calves and long achilles.
