Ive watched about 40 reaction videos in the past 3 days and this one is one of the best by far because for one your friend has never heard a rock song. Ever. 2. Because you can see his face slowly change with every layer of the song. So cute. Led Zeppelin are the gods of rock and the legends follow.
My fav track of the Doors is THE END , simply because when i bought a LP always on a 1st listen i like the dark or just a candle , when i heard The End i nearly shit myself lol
Estranged is my fav track of Gun,s and Roses , i got a tattoo of guns n roses after seeing them LIve in Paris on the use the illusions tour . Also bought a "Nobody knows im a lesbian " T Shirt and my wife stopped me from wearing it in public lol
I was watching and just waiting for him to smile. I knew it was coming, just didn't know when. And you're right, I've listened to it for forty years and it'll never get old.
What I love about this channel is you let it play through instead of stopping every 30 seconds to analyze it. A lot of song you need the feel the flow and it can't be done by breaking it up.
This one and Stairway have battled out as one or two every year since I was a little kid. I'll take Freebird pretty easily though. Best solo of all time....nobioy else is even close. I was so badly wanting to speed it up to see the reaction to the solo. I figured you start trippin out.
Funniest thing to me is all I would have to do is look at you and could tell you'd love it. You look like a Zeppelin fan. This song's almost older than me and it's cool that even now new listeners get blown away.
For my money, there aren't many moments in rock concertdom as reliably joyful as that moment at a U2 show when you and the 50,000 people around you all realize simultaneously that they're about to play this song, and you all start cheering. 😎
50 years ago when I was 14... I had no problem with listening to the first minutes of this song and loved it.... now a days it seems the young one's want a bit more quicker.
I’m 73 and I am thankful for being around in the 60s and 70s and being exposed to this great era of rock & roll. I love this song. Hard to be down after playing this one. 🙂
I have watched you listen to this song the 1st time...the smile and look on your face this time is how you will feel every time you hear it...has been for me for the past 50 years. And the look when it finally hits your friend! Enjoy!
Aaaah, the look of "pride & joy & come & see" when we invite someone to "catch a fleeting glimpse" of the mastery of Floyd. I love it when rap & hip-hop fans get exposed & flat-out BROADSIDED by by them. I love how this (& others by PF) song has the ability to "bridge" nearly any gap of any kind. Pink Floyd: Ambassadors of the "language & power" of music done well....welcome to the machine, Mom! Thanks for posting!
This is one of the greatest live guitar solos ever. I was fortunate to see Chicago at Fillmore East a few weeks before the Tanglewood show. Terry Kath was on fire that night too. RIP guitar wizard.
