This channel is all about my camping and bush crafting projects. I like to make my own gear or modify the stuff I buy to suite my needs more precisely. Hopefully these videos help you all with your own project ideas.
Nifty design. If you dadoed out the middle of the cross piece a tad more, you could store the blade in the same compartment with the side pieces. Over all, well thought out.
Another unboxing video.... Haha.... No, kidding. Nice organized unit. Very nice. Here's what I would add.... Get some flexible closed cell foam rod... It's called "backer rod" in the hardware section, masonry and caulking. Glue to underside of lid. Now you will have a compressible seal when you put the lid back down and tighten it. Helps with water resistance.
My Boy Scout troop had six or seven of these when camping that were made about the same way. Our Scoutmaster would fill the kitchen needs through yard sales and such. It would take two boys to carry the boxes to the dining area. We had a large dining tarp to house the boxes and the food in buckets and coolers.
Very nice. I had to replace my wood cross members with aluminum, my gunnel “L” aluminum reinforcement did not allow enough end distance for scews in wood, so they were pulling out.
Is the Mt Shasta large enough for 2 adults. We are talking two adults that have been married to each other for 31 years. Not that we don't like being close but we do like our room. lol
