Welcome to my Warhammer and other Wargames Art Supplied & Tools Hobby Channel. This channel is used to bring the latest news and impressions of various Wargaming Goodies!
The primary focus is having videos to support our articles on FauxHammer.com
As much as I like the idea the colors still look a bit washed out and the edge between different colors is a bit blurry... but i can image these things to improve
What do you mean you’ll be showing us their new printers ‘very very soon’!? It’s been two months now. I’m waiting for the P1 or X1 ‘MAX’ before I buy one of these 256 models. They have to have a bigger version in the pipeline, do I buy the Prusa XL now or Wait !? 🙏🏽
There's no reason that the multiple exposure test function can't be added to all their machines via firmware update. You'd think they'd want to do anything to speed up the path to first successful print to prevent returns.
The Bamboo ecosystem is absolutely great for the hobby! From what I have learned about them, it seems like the perfect setup for anyone who's interested in 3D printing but not necessarily all the heavy tinkering with the printer. If I didn't already have my printers I would definitely be ordering one of theirs as my starter!
You use 0.05mm layer height. That's literally somewhere around 4K worth of detail. If you're doing it and others are doing that too, why do we even care if it is 8K, 12K, or 14K? Even more, 68 Million Pixels is roughly 750% more pixels than 4K pixel values. In other words, I wouldn't be harping on this at any point in future videos, because the current print volume sizes far exceed what is a reasonable expectation of detail and quality. For the record, I like your reviews and I do not own this printer, so not really justifying any purchase.
How is 0.05mm 4k? Without knowing the “size” of this 4k screen. This comment doesn’t actually make much sense. Not being a dick, I just want to understand what you mean and here so I can answer appropriately
Does anyone know if the lychee splicing thing is stil valid? Should I follow him n do the actual splicing in chitu or have they updated lychee withon this year to work?
@FauxHammer can you PLEASE help me =) I remember seeing a time you talked about a place to find your settings for Uniformation GKTwo and I finally have one and am having some issues where some of the prints stick and the rest never end up sticking. so would love to see ur settings for yours.
Stop using the word mikrons in layer height. I m machinist and still using mm, even at the zeiss measurment machine who needs to be constantly under climate. Working at 0.0001 mm of precison, still calling it mm not mikrons. If the printer can clearly print at 0.001 resolution you are allowed to call it mikron caus it is mikro, but note, working on 0,001 mm the machine needs to be precisly machined to 0.0001 mm. Cant watch your clip after 3 minutes.
@fauxhammer - it's really simple... if there are two screens - one 4k and one 8k and they are both the same physical size, then the 4k screen will yield 2x blockier prints at the same size as the 8k screen will. You are missing the whole point.
The quality looks like a huge downgrade, and the colors don't look good on the model you keep showing. But everything else, and the fact color is done at all is still really cool.
How would you compare this to the m7 announced? i went preorder the m7 due to it have a heater and thinking the ultra tilt mechanic might be a gimmick but it seem to speed up the printing quite a bit. would you recommend this over the m7 and just getting the heater elegoo sells separately?
@@FauxHammer Faux, you are even more tenacious than Tenacious. Good on you. We need to all make these people feel like fools so we can clean up the internet finally. Make people think before they type.
