We would love to see a video how you plan to use these books. My daughter has been following along this series with me and she is sooo interested in all the picks that you have picked. She has declared this is her focus for next school year.

Did a Shakespeare in Film class in college and we watched the KB Hamlet because it is the best by far. We watched several takes on it (Lion King was included) and we compared them to the play and KB's was the most accurate AND the best acted.
My teen just finished Warrior Girl Unearthed and loved it so much he told me I HAD to read it. I don't think he's ever said that before. Of course I'm currently reading many books and feeling like I need to finish a few before I start another.
The Kenneth Branagh is an amazing version! Kate Winslet is so good. Ugh just love it. Also hamlet has death, murder, and plenty of dead bodies so good choice lol
I read Day of Fire a few years ago and I think enjoyed it (it has been a while so can't remember entirely😂), another I read was AD 79, but can't remember much, again many years ago, but could be another option to look at
This is going to be such a fun unit for Regina (and for you to teach, of course!). I'm taking notes because these sound like excellent book choices! Looking forward to updates on how it's going throughout the year!
I’ve shown this to my 10th grader and he’d love to do this. We listened to From Here to Eternity last year (amazing book) and he’s now considering becoming a coroner. We’d love to buy the plans if you decide to put them in your shop. I’ve already got this year planned but it’d be great for next year. We’ve got some forensics-type books that we haven’t gotten to so I think I may use those as an add-on.
Dr. Mutter's Marvels is one I built a main lesson block around too. There are just so many directions you can take with that book! I’m stupid excited about it, lol. This all sounds awesome, Emily-thanks for sharing 🩵!

Just ordered and downloaded it. I LOVE This so much! I've been sort of reading a book here and there along with my kids' themes, so this is great. Independence is an AMAZING book. I read it last year and loved it, and highly recommend it to everyone. It was a 5-star read and just so beautifully written.
I love this so much! I have thought about getting the high school levels for myself 😂 but a smaller unit is definitely more my speed at the moment. I would LOVE to see more if you choose to keep doing this!
I'm purchasing the study guide this afternoon, but I downloaded Independence on Audible this morning and listened to it during my commute and I'm already in love with this. I might be getting ahead of myself, but, Emily, do you have a timeline for part 2 yet? ;)
