Can I bind the "clear all mutes and/or solos" to a keyboard shortcut? Can't find it in the mouse modifiers list (which I believe is a very messy menu. I wish it had a filter and a "find action" button at least)
You'll need to create a custom action. Try this: Track: Select all tracks, Track: Unsolo all tracks, Track: Unmute all tracks, Unselect (clear selection of) all tracks/items/envelope points Once you've created that custom action you can assign a keyboard shortcut. Hope this helps. 👍
For the Quick Trim + Fade parts at 02:57 is there any reason why you're using "item" and "item edit" for the left and right ones on the trim part instead of keeping them the same whether "item" and "item edit" ? Very new to reaper, so sorry if it's a very basic question TY
Going anal about toolbars huh. I would finish ten albums until I do this for all my VSTs. But f**k it looks awesome. Guess I'll give it a go :) Thanks!
I’m curious about the sound of acoustic guitar. Because the guitar has a shorter attack and longer release sound than the voice... can we really separate the noise?
Nice video and good demonstration, although I would've loved to see whether you've got now also a good way to route through multiple HW at the same time, from your SSL to Bus-comp and then back to the DAW or from 1974 to Bus-Comp to SSL and then back to the DAW, or do you have to bounce it every time, to then route it through another piece of HW?
the problem is that you were requesting individual parts, you should have just prompted for a whole instrumental sample that has all the parts but I get what you were trying to do and for that Splice create is the better tool.
@@PodPeak that means I’ll need a sub? Or they’re good on bass? Cuz they hs7 lack bass IMO. To me personally the hs8 don’t need a sub. I really want to get a pair of Gaus 7 or should i get something else?
I tend to use a ton of plugins on spoken word, and of course each stage has to be subtle if you want to keep the voice sounding natural at all. This video is a good reminder that most of what you need to do, sometimes all you need to do, is in these four steps.
Hi pod peak ,great videos you have for Reaper. I have just started to use Reaper for that matter i have never used a DAW before. I have several old songs that i recorded on tape many years ago. I copied them to my com and then imported it to Reaper. However at the start of the tune there is a bit of talking going on and i want to delete that section and move the song to the beginning of the Reaper where it started from ie,bar one. Can anyone here help me in finding out.
This is NOT what we want or need from AI . What AI needs to do for us is act as a MIX assistant to finalize levels insert needed effects for broadcast ready tracks and to master and finalize in all formats for distribution. Basically a production robot so we can dedicate our creative energy to writing great songs and designing great sounds . Having us pick from random sounds and grooves is a compromise and it destroys the artists role in creating the nuts and bolts of great music …Sounds and music is our job .this is their answer to not upset all the production folks who thrive on producing artists which is an artistic choice the musicians and artists should make themselves without the AI . That would be a perfect “Kraftwerk “ . Until that happens it’s a joke to use AI like this 👽✌️
