Hi! We're Cameron and Victoria Wylde. We live in our Airstream with Lola, a 15 y/o Jack Russell.
The right time to start living your dreams is NOW-not, “When I have more time or money." Whether that’s traveling for weeks or years, your dreams are more accessible than you think!
In our weekly videos, we show you how to take the first steps towards your goals, how to travel full time, and everything in between. Join us on our travels, and keep the stoke level HIGH as you plan your own adventures!
We’ll also teach you how to make money while traveling. This is the biggest barrier for most people, but it’s surprisingly simple to overcome. We built an online business that grossed 7 figures. Then our industry took a downturn, so we’re building a new online business. We’re excited to share that journey with you, teaching what we already know and what we learn along the way.

Currently in the middle of my install. I thought the same lift up the carpet and put down vinyl.. not so easy. Pulled up way too many staples too. Just researching the concrete self level part. Will do the silicone for the seams and holes and will do the expanding foam. Not too sure how many bags to get and also doing by my self. I think I’m just going to level the dips instead of the whole floor and hope for the best.. I have just a couple of spots that are just over 3/8 of an inch so that’s why I’m self leveling. Nice vid
Should've grown up there in the 70s and 80s before all the tourons like you started ruining the peace n serenity. Nothing against tourists I'm one sometimes but when idiots come in and disrespect and bring their habits and politics and destroy a whole isolated valley community and ecosystem. It's sad what Crested Butte and Gunnison county has become now. My buddies parents started mountain biking and us kids got to enjoy complete solitude and peace as soon as you got 1/4 mile from Elk Ave. Now you can be 10 miles out on a trail and see 20 people and the whole way there pass dozens of people and not see one buck in velvet.
Are you referring to the running lights on the rear roof? I was wondering about whether or not to throw some sealant around those or just get new 3m tape. I think thats what is used from factory ?
I'm 67 and last year hiked about three miles up a hill to see some bristlecone pines in Great Basin Nat'l Park. the elevation was close to 11k. that one kicked my butt. In 1968 while in the boy scouts we climbed Mt. Whitney in Ca. Two pretty high times for me!! Cool video....
Older ones are much better built; I am holding on to my 1982. No roof leak but there some soft spots on the floor, big job so I just removed the carpet and put thick flooring planks on top.
I just watch your video. I live on the Olympic Peninsula. I use a propane/gas generator when camping off grid on the Peninsula. You need to make reservations a year in advance on the Peninsula. I just show up early on a week day and shoe horn my travel trailer into one of the first come, first served tent sites at one of the state parks. I cook outside on propane. I run fridge, hot water heater on propane to conserve battery power. My generator is used to charge my house batteries. They charge quickly, then I shut the generator down. I can go two days on house batteries before I have to charge them again. There just for lights, heater fan and water pump.
Hey just found your vids. Getting into Airstreams. Been looking at what a good rig would be to go FT with and one I could work remote. From what I've seen I think for us that would be the Flying Cloud 30FB Office! I think this would be as good as it gets. I've always been a fan of Newmar Class A's. But I want to get out there and do this sooner than later (or if ever) given the prices of those rigs.
Thank you for sharing and you present your RV well together. One request... We do not need to hear that you only shower about 3 times a week. That is rather icky. Enjoy your Airstream and use more water! (HA)
Bout to do my hallway today. 150yr old home. So super nervous but just like y’all I have been prepping it for 2 weeks! This video was super helpful thank you. Hopefully I don’t fudge it😅
The ham radio community sells brackets that can give you a solid mounting. I would NOT put a telescoping pole up using 3 plastic brackets. What they sell for ham antennas comes in machined billet aluminum if you look. Many cheaper sheet metal versions are available.
You're trying to put a square peg into a round hole with that thing. That's why trailers in the 27ft range are the most common For Sale on C-list. The really nice places that offer a little privacy, no fee, that "wild" environment - are often not suited for huge RV's.
About to paddle this trip and camp overnight this weekend. Your video was so helpful! And now I know to camp out at Horseshoe Bend Campground. Thank you!
Just saying, working on these as detail, the roof is very flimsy compared to its competitors, the front end is extremely flagile to power wash reliably so doing it by hand is a must
Hi Victoria and Cameron, have you had any issues with the Inverter getting hot in that location & with the panel being in front of it? I really appreciate your video breakdown. Planning to install a 3000w Multiplus 2 in the front compartment of a 27FBT.
There are so many great spots here...Silverton, Buena Vista, Twin Lakes, Crested Butte, Ouray, Salida, Telluride, etc. Hell, even giant Colorado Springs where I live is gorgeous...I'm right up against the range and can access hundreds of miles of single-track trails straight from my front door.
Thanks for the video. Around 6:20..ish you refer to getting an electrician in for moving the outlets in the "wall", can you provide more details? Was a building permit required (did you get it or the electrian?) ? Did you just "cap/terminate" them, or ?
