We visited Telluride, CO for the second time this summer, and were lucky enough to stumble into the annual mushroom festival. After a misadventure through the woods, we got some expert advice and headed back out to forage for some choice shrooms.
We also took advantage of the smoke-free skies and mountain biked twice on Telluride's ski mountain. For our second ride, we bought tickets to the downhill bike park and did one downhill run after another, riding the lift back up each time. Unfortunately, the day didn't end too well for Cameron.
Later, we hiked See Forever Trail, and then made things a lot harder for ourselves by taking the long way home. We also hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls, which is 365 feet tall, and were treated to jaw-dropping waterfalls throughout the whole hike. Once we finally reached Bridal Veil, we were in awe of Colorado's highest waterfall.
If you are camping in a tent or RV, be sure to check out the dispersed camping on Last Dollar Road. We backed our Airstream up to truly EPIC views of the valley thousands of feet below us. This just might be our new favorite dispersed campsite!

👫 About Us:
We're Cameron and Victoria Wylde. We live full-time in our 2015 Airstream International 27FB travel trailer. For years, we dreamed of living and traveling full-time in a camper.
In July of 2020, a few weeks after buying our Airstream, we took the leap. We downsized from 2,200 square feet to 200 square feet. We had never owned an RV before, and weren't sure if we were making the right choice. But within a few weeks, we knew that we had made one of the most exciting and fulfilling decisions of our life.
In our weekly videos, we show you how to take the first steps towards your goals, how to travel full time, and everything in between. Join us on our travels, and keep the stoke level HIGH as you plan your own adventures!

Fellow ASers enjoying the content a lot! Thanks for bringing us along. Sandi, my bride (and vlogger - Sandi Hester) keeps wanting to forage for mushrooms. I plan to upgrade our life insurance and take it up soon. Take care! Grady

Glad to have you along for the journey! Getting some expert advice sure makes mushroom hunting easier. Until you know what you're looking for, a lot of mushrooms look very similar. Fortunately, there are very few that could actually kill a person, and some uncomfortable, persistent digestive issues are more likely.

I’m mostly a road biker but you’re starting to make me want to get into mountain biking! Thank you for another great video. I was just in Sedona and can’t wait to get back. Congratulations on 1,000 subscribers!!

Sedona is our favorite place in the country to mountain bike, so maybe try it out next time you're there! I (Cameron) spent years road riding and racing as well, but got fed up with aggressive or inattentive drivers. Trees don't usually get out of my way, but at least they're not actively trying to run me off the trail 😆

@@ThisWyldeLife Cameron, I hear you on the drivers. I’ve only lived in bike friendly areas (Portland and now SF Bay) but even still it’s amazing the things some people do. I hope you’re able to make a video of your favorite mountain biking trails in Sedona!

@@patrickholmes1044 Everything I've heard about those areas does make them sound much more bike friendly. We'll put together a Sedona trail compilation this fall when it's a bit cooler and it's not a race to get back into the AC!

Nice to see the Wylde’s found their groove! I’m currently in Sun Valley and they’ve already closed there gondola for the seasons, but plenty of epic rides with no crowds!
