Some games are so great they're only ever going be hard to follow up. Different subject but I don't remember seeing you talking about how much of a woke pile of crap spider man 2 was on the ps5? I personally enjoyed starfield more than I did spiderman 2. Also are you going to be calling playstation out for going down the ubisoft road with their new diversity hire drive? Been playing games since the 2600. Oblivion is my all time favorite game. Skyrim 2nd. I missed Morrowind somehow. All that said, I have zero hope for VI.

I still play Skyrim V. It has it's flaws, sure. All the amazing Mods (Renamed 'Creations' for some bizarre reason), keeps it very applicable and vibrant/fun. In all the years Bethesda has had Skyrim, I continue to wonder/ask- WHY THE HELL HAVEN'T THEY OPENED UP THE REST OF THE WORLD/TERRITORY?! ffs...
About an hour ago I was at the dog park with some buddies and one of them was trying to show me how impressed he was with the new Star Wars Outlaws game . Now maybe he's a little out of touch but he kept pointing at the 'cutscenes' and referring to them as 'gameplay' and I had to correct him and say "no dude that's just the regular cutscene you got to scroll forward to the game play" . When I saw it , it looked about as impressive as anything I've seen from 10 years ago on any other platform ! Why would you buy this thing ? Who cares ? I was more impressed with showing him the app game on my smartphone 'MetalStorm' and it's only an app game 😂 !
Bioware made bg1 and 2. Those were the two greatest games I've ever played. As a teen I would spend 100s of hours in the world's created by Bioware. I wouldn't touch one of their games now.
It is honestly kind of incredible how after FO3, FO4, FO76, Starfield and Skyrim people have any trust in Bethesda's vision. They are unable to create a good story, good RPG mechanics or interesting world to save their lives. Starield just highlighted it by being forced to stand on its own

As a side note I've played all Dragon age games but not this new one. Same went for Borderlands 3. You don't have to have my views but I will not pay to have someone else's shoved down my throat.
Unfortunately, Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be a disaster. Bethesda is now incapable of making good games. Instead of wasting time, money, and resources making games nobody wanted or asked for (Fallout 76 and Starfield) they really should have focused on and released Elder Scrolls 6, six years ago. At that point, it may have been a good game.
Loved this era of sci-fi. Space-1999 was epic. Blakes Seven was worth watching as well.. and The Tripods (that unlike Space 1999 for AZ had things that did creep me out as a kid!). 70's/80's TV so good for a kid!!
It’s amazing to me that with a much bigger team and years longer cook time, and still plop out a mediocre, boring, glitchy game. And then sit there and blame everything except the game/company when it doesn’t do well. Yeah, it will be hard for ESVI to live up to standards when you’ve been lowering them with each game.
levitation and flight spells would honestly make all the difference. grappling hooks and clambering/mountaineering would also make a huge difference. moving around in a fun way is basically what makes a game fun to begin with.
'Meeting fan expectations is impossible' me: Not really. Your games are as wide as an ocean but as deep as a pond. Just repeat that and rake in millions of dollars.
The only thing bethesda beeds to do is make a proper map a semi decent story and to leave as much modding freedom as possible to the people And im afraid thats way too mich to ask from them
