Welcome to dieselshadowman's channel! I post anything of mechanical interest from tractors to elevators to machining. Pull up a comfortable chair and a cold drink and enjoy!
They can also have new parts custom produced for a reasonable price thanks to new machining technologies and 3D printing technology as long as they have the original parts diagrams! :)
I would think that the lowest blade would do all the cutting before the top blade. Unless the top blade is stepped to bring the cutting edge down to the same plane as the lower blade.
looks virtually identical to the al336 from H&F..., the standard gap bed 12x36... except for the one crucial feature which is what im always looking at now... the tailstocks done properly on these. take a look at the aforementioned model and see if you can see it... even the latest PM 12x36 does it. they all come from the same factory after all. ive noticed a very old PM 12x36 seemed to be "correct". i have contemplated trying to get one shipped over, but ive decided its better to fire my furnace up, practise my timber work skills, start mashing up some more greensand... and make a lever/ram type with a shaper/slotter affair instead. now ive added a DRO... its even worse. absolutely kills me, makes me not want to use it, as working between centers is an absolute nightmare. actually, this is probably a rebranded version of the al346/al356. that little bit bigger. and the taisltocks done properly!
Sweet pulley speed reduction setup! Probably loads of torque there. I would watch the metal dust with that VFD. I ran a surface grinder with the VFD too close and it shorted and blew. Startled me because it was pretty loud. I relocated a new one in an enclosure with fans and filters about 8 feet away and was fine from then on. You can get or make an extension cable for the remote keypad to mount where it's easy to use.
The base of the elevator shaft could have a pool of thickening fluid! The elevator itself could have cones at the base of the elevator, if the elevator somehow drops these cones could pierce the fluid, and create a braking system! The elevator shaft could also extend below the ground, and could have copper around the base of the shaft, and the exterior of the elevator itself could have magnets to help slow the decent!
you can by put CAPSTOR 240V between the( #3 + W ) theerd line and any other lines ( 1+V ) or ( 2 + U ) = ( L + 1 + Capstore 1 --- N + 2 --- Capastore 2 + 3 ) . to reverse connect to else line ( L + 1 --- N + 2 + Capstore 1 --- Capastore 2 + 3 ).
7:14 i am brand new to lathes and this video was very helpful. what do you mean engaging feeds at the same time? 1 is to cut threads but what is the 2nd feed for?
Please put steel fenders and a steel hood on the tractor. Plastic cannot be repainted and it definitely doesn’t last 20 years or under the sun without becoming brittle and breaking.
