Hi Maxime, Thanks for the video! Would it be easier to put the points, plans and lines a several lists and use it to create the PC instead of selecting them manually in each PC? (or maybe this option wasn't available in R19?)

Bonjour Maxime! From another of your tutorials (Exploded views) you can also apply the BOM to the exploded view that is generated from the Markup. If you want to hide a particular part(s) in the markup (Perhaps it is a large ASSY), is it possible to have the BOM report ONLY what is shown in the referenced view? Composer can do this, but I am trying to do it within Catia/drawings. Many thanks in advance! Merci!
I find that if you enter the design review work bench before adding a markup, it adda a ‘review’ item to the tree that can’t be deleted as well as disabling the slide function. Do you know how I can delete the review item and revive the slide function?
Hey Maxime, amazing content! Can you help me out please? Which excitements should i use if i have a mechanism that can move over x and y axis (magnetic tile moving over table)? I want to make a scenario where the tile moves to one part of table, then it waits, then after 10 seconds it moves to another part of table and so on.
I dont need to create dynamic simulation with actual magnetic forces, i just need to have kinematics so that tile can move where i tell it to and some results in form of output rate (the tiles will move the assembly parts - the manufacturing items)
Hi @maxime, I have a 3D EXPERIENCE drawing template (empty) and I want to convert it to V5 for supplier data. But when I do and export the V5 data, I am unable to edit the title block. Is there anything I need to do in settings. Please advice
This is a dirty geometry, for clean gemtery you need use a surfaces and splines (no more than 5-7 degrees) connected at the ends with continuity G2-G3.

Elle ne fonctionne qu’avec le petits menus qui apparaissent à côté lorsque je click un objet - avec un symbole tout en premier de coïncidence de surfaces. Si je veux faire comme toi , depuis un menu de toolbar, les objets ne bougent pas, la connexion ne se fait pas et j’ai un petit signe rouge avec 2 ronds blancs dans l’arbre à gauche d’écran. Tout en espérant d’avoir clairement expliqué 😅 je te remercie en avance !
Love your videos Maxime. There are very few 3DExperience videos on RU-vid. Yours are very well done and easy to understand. I have a question about minor revisions. What if you have a larger assembly with 30 minor revision updates that are buried in several sub-assemblies. Is there any way to open a product and update all parts/products containing minor revisions to the latest, either with an open advanced, global update, or select children and overload latest minor revisions all at once? I can't find a way to update a whole assembly containing several minor revisions changes. This would be especially useful in cases where another team made the minor revisions and I don't know which products require an update. The B.I. Essentials Minor Revision Management helps that, of course, but it would be nice if there was a way to update all products in an assembly to the latest minor revision if a later minor revision exists. Hi Maxime, your videos are very helpful. However, I believe 3DX updated recently and your steps no longer apply. When I open 'Design Review' workbench, it creates a new 'Review' which is outside of the product itself, and I can only work inside of the markup under that. Creating a markup inside my product, I have no way to add new slides or edit them. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Nevermind, I solved my own problem. If anyone else gets stuck, in order to work on the slides in your markup, the markup must be under the top level that you are working on. For example, if you are looking at a product, but your markup is inside a part, you will not be able to work on it.

hi plm techology. I have some questions. I know that the function of fitting, which disassembles and reassembles parts, is only available in delmia in 3d experience. Is there any similar function in 3d experience? If there is a way to do this, can you show it in a simple video?

The same location (for me) only has I_Material_Nav_core.jpg and no elasticfatigue files. Is there a repository where I can download the standard and more materials? or is it best to submit a ticket?
This video is from 19x. I have found that in 23x the content is not loaded buy default when loading the native apps. From the compass navigate to the "Material Definition" widget. Click on the down chevron next to the widget. At the bottom there should be a "Load additional content" or "Install additional content". If you click that it will download the additional content. Mine was loaded into a seperate but similar structure "C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B425_Cloud_Content\win_b64 esources\materials". The resource files that are loaded will depend on your license stack, but this should at least get you the standards.
Thanks again for such informative videos. I'd like to ask a question regarding drawing bom's. Is there a way to ommit/ exclude parts in the bom while still showing them in the design tree. A sort of phantom part. Thanks for your time. -Au revoir
Hello, when I do weight definition some of the partbodies are not showing option for defining. They are still in red colour and the simulation cannot start due to inertia error. But for you the part are partially defined the weight automatically. How? Do I have to change any settings
Hello Maxime. I know this isn't really relevant to this video itself, but you seem to be a great person to ask - when I save an assembly, why in V6/3DEXPERIENCE are visual elements (hide/show status; assembly-level colouring of parts) not saved? i.e. when I hide all but one part, save the model and close V6, then when I reopen it, all parts are showing? This seems really strange, as it was just how things worked in V5: if you saved with parts hidden, they'd stay hidden when you re-open the model. I cannot make sense of why this behaviour was removed?!
Instead of hiding the product or part, try hiding the individual body, planes and geometrical sets of every part body(define the particular body). Then it'll work same even after reopening
what can this derived representation be used for ? I was trying to modify link of a view in the drawing however it does not allow the view to be linked to a 3d shape.
Hello maxim. First a wnat to thank you for you videos, they are very helpful and very good examples ;). In the simulation of the double cardan I have a problem, when I tray to run the simulation, an error apear, that error says "Invalid inertia detectedon leaf of the gaph constrains", (similar like you, but in yor case they are only warnings) I follow your process (by analogy), but that error apear, I tray to find the mistake, but I cuold not find where the inertia have to be defined. can you help me?
