Pen didn’t betray Eloise. She printed what she did to protect her. The Queen thought that Eloise was Lady Wistledown so Pen wrote about Eloise to deflect the Queen from coming for her.

One thing I think a lot of people don't fully get, is that Colin is genuinely completely oblivious to Penelope's feelings for him, and they judge him way too harshly for it. She has always behaved a certain way with him, and he thinks that's just how she is. But now, she is actively looking for a husband and he doesn't think that she has ever considered him in that way, especially after their conversations in ep3. The way he sees it, she has already rejected him, but his desperation gets the better of him and he speaks out anyway. Penelope isn't the only one with low self esteem, and you see it clearly when Colin thinks that she's rejecting him in the carriage. He's immediately like, 'right, no, of course you wouldn't want me'. He was belittled and taken advantage of because of his romantic nature, and is constantly pursued by other women for his wealth, status and looks, but he says himself that Penelope is the only person who makes him feel truly seen and appreciated for who he is. They both effortlessly make the other feel good about themselves, and like they can actually just be themselves without judgement, which is why they're so perfect together.
OKAY, even if you didn't see my previous comment, Brimsley and Reynold spent their whole lives loving each other, along Charlotte and Farmer George. Day after day, sun and rain, they were able to be together, lives intertwined, partners in love together, partners in the love of their king and queen.
Oh my GAWD....So I went to the end, and it made me cry on multiple levels, mental illness, seeing lifelong gay love relationships being able to live lifetimes because of the love the people they serve, abuse, older women being fucking ALLOWED to feel like whole women, this show HITS EVERY METRIC. Nicola actually confirmed in an interview or a tiktok or something that Penelope didn't move right away because she was too busy looking at Colin to notice the balloon coming towards her. And let's be honest, Colin only noticed that balloon first BECAUSE he was so busy looking at Pen😭🤭💕

Yes, my husband hunts and has a nice deer head on our living room wall. I put lights in his antlers and a blinky nose on his at christmas. For the record, we use the meat, we don't hunt for sport. Venison is delicious, especially venison jerky!

I don't like the way Tom treated Marian she deserved better what I'm saying is if he loved Patrick he should've let go of Marian its kinda upsetting how Marian just loved him and earned nothing because she was a victim .thats why i think Tom should've stopped his relationship with Marian when he started falling for Patrick

It is easier to express yourself when you're hiding behind a fake identity. Especially for someone like her who has been mocked, overlooked and/or neglected by their own family and most people in general. She isn't used to being acknowledged by others. Especially not men. The Bridgertons are the only ones who showed her kindness throughout the years. She's comfortable with them, with Colin, Eloise, etc.
Pen can not have it both ways. She continues to play the victim of not being popular or accepted, and write ish about others.
